I was recently gifted an embroidery machine and these threads are top notch! I have used the thread for simple and complicated patterns and it has not faded with washing or wear, started fraying and has held up to outside weather also including personalized bandanas for dogs. I’ve also used on various fabrics-thick or thin-and there’s no problems. Worth every penny and better than what is in the stores.

This is my second purchase of New Brothread machine embroidery thread. It stitches out well on my Janome machine, and I was excited to see the expansion in color range. I used a few of the new spools on some short projects to make sure the quality was unchanged, and I encountered no issues threading or stitching out with the newer batch. I use the spool huggers to control the loose ends during storage. When opening a never used before spool, New Brothread has changed the way to get to the new thread end for the better. Just a gentle tug on the thread, and the spool is ready to use. On previous spools, the thread end was tucked under previously wound thread. Not a big issue, but I appreciate useful innovations. Thread nets and color chart are included in the box.

The New Brothread machine embroidery thread comes in an array of beautiful colors. I was pleasantly surprised by the various shades and colors, which made it easy to complete pending projects. For the price, you receive a lot of thread. I have paid more for spools with half the yardage, yet because of how these spools are constructed, they still easily fit in my cases. In addition, the bottom of the spools contain a built-in thread minder - just pull it down, place the loose end in the channel, push the bottom back up and the loose end is secure! No need for thread socks or a bulky silicone thread minders that get lost every time you take them off. This thread works fantastic, and I've not experienced any shredded or nesting. Highly recommend if you want or need a large color selection.
