The ABZORB Crash Pad in the heel helps reduce impact using a combination of compression resistance and cushioning to deliver underfoot comfort that lasts hour after hour. These non-slip working shoes have a solid non-marking outsole you can wear confidently at the workplace. They're both slip-resistant and oil-resistant, helping to deliver solid traction on various surfaces to help you stay focused on the job, not your feet. Oil-resistant outsole properties are tested according to ASTM D471-16a. Slip-resistant outsole properties are tested according to ASTM F2913-19 to provide superior traction under various surface conditions.

The shoes seemed slippery at first. But after 2 days they were fine. I have plantar insoles in the shoes. But even then are super comfy than the shoes I usually get!! They are good work shoes that are firm supportive and comfy. They are easy to clean. I will be getting these again.

I usually buy New Balance but I don’t usually buy them with out trying them on. I took a chance on these because I needed them right away. I have thick feet and need an extra wide shoe. New Balance has been my go to for years. These slip resistant shoes are every bit the New Balance standard I am used to. They fit true to size and are comfortable for long wear. im 5.5 in womens n this fit me fine so its true to size. i work as a cashier/server n at first my feet would be tired like it used to when i started about 8 months ago. they’re not the best for comfortability if that’s what you’re looking for in shoes because it feels like hard rock after a couple hours. maybe i just need to get used to it like i did with my last work shoes. still a solid shoe and is nonslip 👍 ... show more

okay, here goes: cons: -not very lightweight, when i walk i feel the weight of the shoe. -not great arch support, sore sides & bottoms of feet if standing/walking 4+ hours. pros: -waterproof as a motherf* -slip resistant for sure -comfy, (tolerable) there are definitely worse/ more uncomfortable shoes by far. i work in a kitchen all day, i cook huge quantities of noodles at very high temperatures, my first few days at work i would drop water on my shoes and it would soak right through my other shoes and i severely burned my feet multiple times. since getting these shoes, if i drop that boiling water on my feet it rolls right off. i can’t tell you how priceless not burning my feet is, truly. they are comfortable shoes but don’t have great support and the tops are a little uncomfortable for bigger feet and therefor leads to some sore feet for sure, but having said that it’s nothing i can’t personally tolerate and i’m happy with my purchase. they aren’t the most uncomfortable shoes ive had, and with them being water resistant and slip resistant i will happily tolerate mild soreness. i would recommend these highly especially if you work in a kitchen setting. maybe get some insoles for them too, but seriously worth a little soreness. ... show more

Sizing seems to have changed since last year. I bought a pair of these a year ago in 7 wide, which had more than enough space. They were the most comfortable work shoes I had ever bought. Wore them for a year, reorder a new pair same size. They were way too tight, return, order 7.5 wide, still too tight, return, buy 7.5 extra wide. At this point I couldn’t wait any longer to replace my shoes and wore them regardless, but they are somehow still too tight (particularly around my pinky toe) which is causing me horrible pain during and after work. I haven’t gained any weight during the time, my feet fit all of my other shoes just fine. I guess I’ll just have to call it a loss and find a different shoe. ... show more

I have purchased these shoes 3 times for work in a restaurant. The first pair I bought were amazing...it was like walking on a cloud. The second pair...were just not comfortable but I put inserts in them and they were fine. The 3rd pair...I've had a month and I'm looking for a replacement. I don't know what changed but this is not the same super comfy shoe I got 2 years ago. They're just MEH. ... show more

These are the best shoes for me as a server working 4 consecutive shifts every week and 7 days/week between two jobs. I previously purchased the Skechers non-slip shoes becasue the price was more reasonable and I also bought a pair of Clark's one day when I accidentally left my Skechers at home. The Clark's were more of a closed toe, slightly dressy style shoe so not a direct comparison. Clark's is known to be a very high quality, comfortable shoe and did fairly well for me but I still had a break in period and went home with sore feet a few time sin both the Skecher and Clark's. Note: I already wear new Balance shoes as my everyday athletic shoe and knew what my size is in this brand. However, when I wore them for my first full shift, there was zero break in time. Just wore them all weekend and my feet felt great. I didn't even think about it. these are by far the best of the best for anyone who can wear New Balance. My understanding is most women like them. you just have to find the right size for yuor foot. I wear a 8.5b and I need a wide toe box becasue the top of my feet are wider. I get no slip or looseness in the heel. Fairly lightweight shoe. The style is more classic athletic shoe to me, just in all black. The price on these fluctuated between $48-80. I suggest you put them in yuor Amazon cart, then click "save for later" so you can check the price at least once a week. I recently saw it drop to $50 and bought immediately.
