It’s very hard to find a pair of low-cut work shoes that provide to protection for extremely wide feet. Most vendors make a wide shoe, but leave the toebox standard which hurts your toes. The materials and glued on colors logo scream made in China. They do seem to fit well, which is what NB is known for for wide feet. I’m in construction sites quite often and suspect these will not make it a year. They are basically a glorified sneaker with heavy duty toe protection. If NB use metal eyelets for the laces and sturdier upper materials — it would be a home run. I LOVE these shoes. I’m a 6ft1 400 lb man. I’m on my feet all day and these shoes are not just super comfortable but are super durable! They run true to size so no worries about them being too small. As long as they don’t stop making them I’ve found my new favorite work shoes!!

These are the most comfortable steel toe shoe ever made. I need a solid, supportive shoe which is often hard to find in a steel toe. I have severely flat feet, and I struggle with posterior tibial tendonitis. I do remove the insoles and use my own. As for the weight of these, I won’t lie. They are a bit heavy. First off I just bought other NB sneakers (not safety shoes) because they make 4E wide and they ran a little on the small size, not these. Not only are they wide but the toe box is tall. I could easily have gone a half size smaller (or more). It feels like an ocean of room and for a guy with wide tall feet not having pressure on my toes is a welcome relief. Most safety shoes that are nice and wide are work boots. Fine if you are in a warehouse but I work in an office and on a manufacturing floor. I wanted something lighter and cooler. These fit my need perfectly. My only complaint is the insole. I think it's made out of plywood (just kidding). It's very firm. After about a week I replaced them. ... show more
