  • Works Great
Tried a couple of different options and this is by far the best. Have a Toyota Camry and I slid it just above head liner above rear view mirror. I pulled into a loading dock area where the car was surrounded by concrete on all sides except the rear of the car. The Antenna was able to pull in all the local stations in HD with no problem.👍🏼 ... show more

  • Great antenna
I got this for my son's 2005 Trailblazer Ext. The factory radio didn't pull in any stations. Cd player worked but just static on am/fm station. Antenna wouldn't even work with an aftermarket radio we installed. So rather than trying to tear everything apart to in stall a new antenna and cable we decided on this antenna. Easy to hook up and channels come in great. Way better than radio in my 2017 GMC Acadia. Excellent reception. ... show more

  • Works better vs. Others
After trying a few other brands and models of Internal radio Antennas they worked "ok" so was hesitant to buy another one....I gave this one a try and WOW!...the radio signal and performance was like 80% better!...Places where I drove with a lot of radio static is now pretty clear!...not bad of a purchase 😀 ... show more

  • This does work!
This product went in a 20 year old Lexus GS300. That car was never made with a factory regular antenna. It had a proprietary antenna built into the dash with a black box secret sauce noise supressor. It couldn't be adapted to the new replacement Sony radio. The new Sony radio allows for a backup cam and we decided it was the decade to upgrade. This is my wifes daily driver and she listens mostly to Pandora streaming from her smartphone. Initially without an antenna we didn't get ANY stations. I thought it was important to have broadcast radio so that in the San Jose, CA Bay Area we can be updated on earthquake and wildfire road closures etc. Hurircanes, tornadoes, pandemics, and riots may be better reasons for others. A little investigation on Amazon brought me to this product and a lesser expensive flat bar shaped antenna, both made to be stuck to the windshield. I had a contest and both performed pretty well. The new total was 23 FM stations that were "listenable" some better than others with the mix of ethnic stations too. The other flat bar shaped antenna was cheaper but got one less station in the contest. Both antennas received 4 AM stations. This antenna seemed to be clearer than the cheaper one too. At 1/3 of the cost of this one it would have been fine but perhaps a little more visually intrusive. The other good thing about this is its' stealthiness. It sits up in the shaded portion of the windshield behind the rear view mirror. You cant see it from the outside of the car. The 3M VHB tape is more than enough to hold it in place. If it comes time to replace the windshield then it might be best to add a new antenna into the cost of windshield replacement. Prep the surface with alcohol first let it dry and then peel and stick. Apply even finger pressure to affect the bond. Full cure overnight. They actually bond semi truck trailer skins and airplane skins with this stuff. In my trial I did try positioning the antenna in the space between the radio and the bottom side of the dash. About a third of the stations dropped out of the mix and quality suffered. There was plenty of cable to route this across the dash to the "A" pillar , then up , and back to the rear view mirror area. The plug end makes a very positive stiff insert into the radio but they all do and that is your assurance that it wont vibrate out of place. After the installation I rolled out of the garage and the reception just got better. For many this may be the solution your looking for, works for me. ... show more

  • nice replacement antenna
easy to install, probably a good replacement if original antenna is broke but was not impressed with signal pick up. Few local stations was not picked up

  • Do not buy it!
It didn't work worth a damn. I work out in the woods 60 miles of dirt and forest service roads, I use a 84 Chevy K10 for work which has the antenna in the windshield, i can only pick up one radio station by the time I'm half way to work, and it's really poor reception by the time i get there. That crappy old windshield antenna work twice as good as the piece of crap I bought, Matter of fact I jerked it out yesterday and pitched it in the garbage, and I spent some time installing it so no wires were visible and it was mounted well. ... show more

  • Static
I'd recommend something else.. the reception isn't clear at all. Now that may be due to the compatability with the radio itself, but it didn't work for me.

  • BUY IT! PERIOD!
O.K. first like many who may be buying this, I bought an after market Android touchscreen and could only get about 4 stations clear and semi clear and always went out at certain locations. So, this is the setup you need to do WITH this item. I tried many like this and find that this IS THE BEST BY FAR! No fancy plastic cosmetics. Just PURE exposed working exposed electrical circuit board guts! I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. I replaced my stock antenna and installed a 5" stubby. Then I bought a "Y-SPLITTER" FM Antenna around $9 here on Amazon split the truck Antenna and added this Antenna which is dead center under my windshield. BUT, Also bought a FM signal booster installed at radio and antenna. What this does is pull in both Antennas for an amazing signal no interference either. So Using your stock or aftermarket (stubby) Antenna, this item I'm reviewing AND, a FM signal booster I now get so many CLEAR stations even over an hours drive to the radio station. I get so many I ran out of favorites on my radio to program them. Now when I hit automatic search it stops every 1-3 seconds finding a good locked in station. I didn't try AM at this moment. I am so happy with this setup and it works amazingly! Hope this info helps. ... show more
