  • Sturdy, looks nice, decreased litter!! Perfect!!
Color: Black Size: Jumbo
Love This Product!! I purchased this about a month ago and it is performing beautifully. What others are saying: Other reviewers are saying that the screw holes do not line up. I thought mine didn't either, but with a little shaking of the pieces the holes do line up, the screws sink in half way and then you can screw them in with your fingers (they are big plastic screws so easy to do by hand). "The pieces don't fit together": All the pieces I had fit together. Several of them look very similar though so you have to pay attention and get the right parts in the right place. All in all, the unit I ordered (jumbo version) was easily put together in 30 minutes. "the door hinges break" Well they are plastic, so i wouldn't suggest resting your litter box, full of cat waste and heavy litter, on the hinges. If you don't do this, then I don't know how these things could break because there is not very much weight on them. So, don't rest your box on the hinged door when you are pulling the box out to clean the litter. Just grab hold of the box and pull it out without resting it on hinged door. "urine leaks through to the floor" Yes this box is not air tight. Some have suggested using a sealant product. What I did was buy an 18 gallon tote from WAl-mart for $5, cut a cat hole in the end of it 7" up from the bottom (and as big as the box would alllow) and now I have a cheap litter box with really REALLY high sides. I've never had a cat go over the edge because it's 15.75 inches high. I find this littler box to be perfect because it is quite large and if I push it all the way to the back of the unit, the cats are required to step out of the litter box and onto the interior surface of the ecoFlex unit instead of immediately stepping out onto the floor. So, I now see ALOT less litter on my floor than I previously had seen. Most of the littler is contained in the unit and I can just use a hand vac for removal. Also with the Walmart tote as a litter box, there are already existing holes at the top of the handles where you can hang an "s" hook, and hang your litter scoop inside of the box. I also love this because then i don't have to store a nasty litter scoop somewhere else, it's contained in the litter box. The reason why I opted for the Walmart tote as opposed to ones I had from Target is that the Walmart tote has less "bends" in the bottom of the box where the litter typically clumps. With less "bends" in the box it is easier to remove the clumpy litter. It always seems to get stuck in the corners....so the less corners I have the better. I also like the colored plastic totes vs. the clear ones because the clear totes seem to be more rigid and more likely to crack. I've never had a rubber tote leak on me and I've used them for years. I suggest a black rubber one for this ecoFlex unit...I used a gray tote and you can see the gray tote through the side windows of the eco flex. Sturdy? I find it to be plenty sturdy to hold a lamp and a few picture frames. It's still even big enough for my cat to lay on top of it. With the jumbo, you also get the storage shelf, I plan on getting a basket to fit in the gap to store stuff. Anyhow, I love this product. I will buy another unit if I can fit one into my laundry room. The decreased litter on the floor is so awesome it would really be nice in the laundry room. hope this helps!! ... show more

  • exactly what we were looking for. UPDATE: now have both sizes
Color: Black Size: Standard
Standard: Had a wooden one, smelled. Was used as heavy plant stand, was concerned this wouldn't hold the weight but is plenty sturdy. Like way front opens down better, old opened like cabinet, just works nicer. Nice that can be dissembled if need cleaned/renewed someday. Also rectangle shape allows for larger box than old that was square that only fit a medium-small pan which isn't great for adult cat. I have a large high side litterbox that fit in this, I did have trim the front and back curled ridge off, but once done it fits so perfect and snug in box on all sides, just beautiful, and no chance of pee getting outside litterbox now. Slides in and out smoothly. like a glove Paranoid from previous experience, I calked the seems on inside after I assembled, but because I was able to fit a high side box in, was really no need. Looks nice, takes care of the eyesore problem. Looks better even than wooden one we had before. And cats like it better with the side vents, yet box still muffles smell more than just a open box. Jumbo: First, the experience with the Standard that owned i guess a year or two now is great as the first day. Works perfectly. Now ordered the Jumbo for another space. Also great. Assembly can be very easy. Skimmed through the book to get the assembly order, ignoring the parts. Than putting it together is just straight forward, only one way it can go, bar codes on the inside, etc. Same with plastic screws, is pretty obvious where the long ones are needed, and where short. I think parts are labeled but I didn't look. Starts little awkward so guess one those things where you get lucky in the assembly flow or struggle a little. just don't assume the top stay down till have all done, almost funny frustrating to have walls up and many screws in only to lift the top and have everything pop out of joint. Also if you don't put the front on till last, don't tighten the front side screws too much because will need loosen to fit door in. Someone complained about the plastic screws but i think a sensible and durable solution and see the engineering behind this to be well thought out. Was kind of dirty inside from manufacturing so I opened box in garage before carrying parts inside to assemble. It was requested I cover up the air/light holes, so I put ouch-side velcro around them. I cut a carbon airfilter sheet into 4 pieces and they just naturally stuck to the velcro. so looks nice, but doesn't let light through so little rude for the cats. really covering the windows is not necessary to cut the dust. it is surprising and counterintuitive how much the cat box's block the dust even with openings left open. but I will leave them covered till person calms down from pervious bad experience with open box. I'll also grab a pack of vent cover filters at walmart use them instead of the carbon paper on the non-visible side sense they will let more light in. I considered gluing or taping plastic tabs on to hold whatever window covers I use, but the velcro idea was genius. Is really better to leave them open though, sadly litter boxes should have some airflow. I've delt with way too many cats for decades these boxes contain the litter chaos as good as it gets. If the cat box isn't cat sanctuary they make you pay. Very big. I carried up steps by myself but most would want two people. sturdy. walls don't fit snug against box the way standard does, but gives room to store scoop inside. Is power cord hole, probably for automatic litter boxes, though you could also mount a small TV for your kitty if wanted to turn the space into a lounge area. ... show more

  • Love this enclosure! Almost perfect!
Color: Black Size: Standard
We recently got a new cat, and needed space to hide another litter box. I liked the fact that this item wasn't wood so that it wouldn't get permeated with pee. I also liked the fact you can take it apart to clean more easily. Assembly isn't necessarily hard, but it's not super simple either. Mainly it's a pain keeping everything together while using the thumbscrews. Once together, the unit is very solid and sturdy, and looks great. The main issues I have with it are it doesn't fit a lot of litter boxes. All the litter boxes I've found with tall sizes are too large to fit inside this one. That's my fault, as I bought it before looking for a litter box. I should have measured the litter box I wanted first. The other issue I have is it could be easier to take the door off. As it is, you have to unscrew the side panel and pop off the bottom. They should have made the door hinge screw in from the side so it removes more easily without having to pop off the side panel. That would have made it perfect! I have already had a cat miss and soil the inside. It wiped off quickly and easily, and stayed inside the unit. Which is exactly what I wanted! ... show more

  • Aesthetically beautiful and works well for my space! Aesthetically beautiful and works well for my space!
Color: Black Size: Standard
The litter loo works really well and provides a discreet location for my cat to poop. I love how it’s plastic because I don’t have to worry about pee soaking into wood or bubbling the product. I love the espresso color and the ease of assembly. No tools were required and I got it ready to go in less than 10 minutes! The quality seems really good for what it is and though it could be a little sturdier, I’m still impressed by how well it’s been holding up over the last few months. The best thing about the litter loo is how aesthetically pleasing it is! I have it set up in my front room and guests have no idea at first that this “end table” is actually a litter box. I like that there are holes on the sides of the product, which allows odors to escape into my air purifier, which I set right next to the product. I just converted to the Breeze Litter System based on a review’s suggestion and I feel like it goes with the litter loo perfectly. It fits snugly and clean up truly is a breeze. I was debating getting an automatic litter box before this purchase, but pairing the litter loo with the Breeze Litter system was the best decision I made. I highly recommend this product. I bought the standard size and it was the perfect amount of space for my 12 lb cat. I originally ordered the jumbo and it was too big for my needs, but I can see it being useful for some coon and larger cat breeds. No buyers remorse here, and I’d still buy the litter loo all over again if I could go back in time or if I adopt another cat! ... show more

  • EcoFlex wins, particle board loses. EcoFlex wins, particle board loses.
Color: Antique White Size: Standard
I am pleased with this litter box enclosure! I have two litter box enclosures, from two different brands- and this is the far superior one! I purchased this litter box enclosure a week ago after much research. I have owned the Merry Pet Litter Box enclosure in white for about 5 months and the flimsy particle board construction is a pain to put together, maintain and enjoy after paying $100. This time, I'd get the right product! And I think I did! This EcoFlex litter enclosure is wonderful, and puts my other litter box enclosure to shame. *This product is made of strong plastic like materials, there are no screws or breaking of boards during construction- just some hand twisting and simple alignment. It took me about 30min (I watched an episode of the Office while setting it up!) *The inside is spacious- more space than my other enclosure even though the dimensions are the same overall, it's simply built better. I was able to place the WhiskerCity Rimmed Litter Pan inside. * The door is a pull down, not a swing out door. Something I didn't realize I loved! It's great if you want some more space cleaning out the box- you don't have to worry about knocking the door and dropping litter (something I have done a lot!). * The look is simple and farm/traditional decor style. The top has a faux vertical line wood grain look, faux shiplap and wooden planks frame the sides and opening. It is a soft off white. It matches perfectly with my off-white panelling in the room. It makes this litter enclosure fit seamlessley in any room, as it isn't a bright white like many other litter box enclosures. * The fact that is not made out of wood or particle board is genius!! I am a clean freak which is tough when you have cats, but cleaning this enclosure is so simple. A quick vacuum or dustpan pickup and some multipurpose spray is all you need! It literally looks brand new every time I clean it. On the other hand, The Merry pet litter enclosure I own, is eroding before my eyes and the particle board is breaking and chipping with every bathroom use (no matter how often I clean it!). * The only downside that I can see is the lack of a shelf or something in it that would allow a space for the scooper. But that's not the end of the world! ... show more

  • Twice now! Twice now!
Color: Black Size: Standard
Excellent. Get over the fact it's a composite plastic. It looks wonderful. The faux bead-board is just enough to make this stylish. And assembled it has trim work that gives this a "NOT Cheap" appearance. Biggest con: the mess of unpacking. The Styrofoam residue, and especially the "saw-dust" particles are gnarly (see pic). Keep a vacuum and barely -damp rag handy. Hints: 1) READ & FOLLOW directions. 2) Lay out the pieces in numeric order (know there is NO #6 !) 3) There are little stick-on pads that go on the bottom of the verticals after assembly (in the directions the last page). PUT THEM ON BEFORE STEP 1... It protects the surface your working on 4) I assembled on my table. Working higher was easier 5) I found using the damp rag best to snug-up the hand turned, plastic bolts 6) IF a bolt appears to not 'go-in' the pre-drill holes, don't freak, take a breath, make sure all parts are pushed all the way into place and square, then try again. BOOYAH! (I am able to bet that the manufacturer process includes an assembly run as the pieces have rubbed marks where they are slid together which tells me they inspect for alignment and square) 7) I had cats using the uncovered litter box while awaiting for this. To get them used to it (or assure they'd have easy transition) I left the door open for two days. No problem! I bought one for our bedroom, then two weeks ago another for our family room. I think its a well designd very well crafted litter-HIDER! Easy to get to litter. Door down, lift a little & slide out litter box, scoop, slide back, close door. The girls will lay on top of it, particularly at night as it's under a window for night animal spying! It's worth the money! Enjoy your cats! ... show more

  • Quality product with classy look Quality product with classy look
Color: Antique White Size: Standard
ok, I want to admit how much I am NOT A HANDY PERSON with putting together projects. So, after my purchase arrived, I let it sit in the bedroom for a week before I opened the box due to dread that it would be problematic to assemble. It was packed so well and I'm glad to say nothing was damaged in shipping (other reviews complained about damaged shipments). So, I take out all the pieces and lay everything out - nervously. I noticed the parts are "numbered" and the screws have no flathead slot. Whaaaaat?? A smart set of pieces already!!! Now I'm not nervous and start reading the directions which are all pictures!! Whaaaat???Another smart piece to the puzzle! The parts go together smoothly, the screws fit the actual holes, and I don't even need a screwdriver but just my fingers. This is a breeze! The quality of the product is very nice, the type of material is great (washable and non-porous which is necessary to cat parents) and the size is ideal, to say the least! I bought the white one and it goes so well with my colors in the "cat's bedroom." It's sturdy and my current litter box fit absolutely perfect in the interior. The best feature that I like is the front door which pulls down and looks like a ramp. That way, I can pull out the litter box seeing and getting all the "goodies" in the back of the box! I am so amped about the whole deal that I am buying two more Litter Loo for the other boxes. One jumbo and another standard size. My cats went right to it and have been positive about it, too. I think they like the increased head space since I took off the "hood" on the box when I put it in the Litter Loo. And what a clever name, may I say! I really, really love this product and appreciate such ease to assemble, stylish look, quality, and perfect size. You hit a home run with this product, Litter Loo!!! THANKS!! ... show more

  • Good but Requires Some Modifications
Color: Black Size: Jumbo
UPDATE for JUMBO BOX: After my 2nd box, I figured out the supplies and dimensions to prep the box to no leak urine. You'll need a large roll of plastic painters cloth (clear if preferable), wide moving tape (clear if possible), and amazon basics xl pee pads. 1. Piece #1 of plastic painters cloth is a 45" L x 27" W rectangle strip that starts at the inner windows on one side, goes down and across the bottom, and then up to the other inner window. I made sure it tucked into the corners as much as possible. I also made sure to leave a small lip in the front to tape to the door. I use 4 strips of tape on each side for a total of 8 strips. I tape it at the front, one on each window, and at the back. The result should be that the sides and bottom are covered seamlessly. 2. Piece #2 is 23" W x 21" H and is cut to fit the back. It is a bit bigger on the side and bottom edges so that it overlaps the bottom and sides of the bigger #1 piece. Then I taped the overhang to piece #1. The tape helps with seamlessness. The more tape the better. 3. I then put a pee pad UPSIDE DOWN to line the bottom. This way, if they miss and it drips down the plastic, the pad will catch it upside down and prevent it from sloshing or puddling. I also chose this because my cat knows the feeling of a pee pad and will just go on the pad if it's facing up. I don't want to enable this behavior. My cat has missed once so far. In the front part. The pee dripped down the plastic, under the pee pad, and the pee pad absorbed most of it. All I had to do was wipe the plastic down with a little enzyme cleaner and replace the pad. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This jumbo litter loo is spacious enough for larger boxes and is made decently. Having said that, here are some notes: 1. The sides, except the door, is prefab wood. It is a bit flimsy and will NOT withstand any liquid. 2. The pieces fit together. If you plan on putting this on a surface that cannot be scrubbed, I highly advise lining the inside (see below) with plastic painters cloth and training pee pads. 3. There is no back door. Therefore, if you have multiple cats that fight, one might pin the other inside. 4. When unboxing, do so in an area you can sweep quickly. My box was full of black flakey material that went everywhere. I lined the inside of mine with large plastic painters cloth, shaped it, cut it and taped so that no liquid will seep. I then put an XL Amazon Basics puppy pee pad FACE DOWN to catch urine from puddling. All cats miss at some point so this will help stop it from seeping and/or ruining the prefab. Word of caution. No matter what anyone says. No matter the reviews you read. CAT URINE DOES NOT COME OUT OF CARPET or RUGS. You can use all the enzymes you want. You might not smell it after but they will. Esp in the summer. They are creatures of habit so they will return to the spot. Therefore no one can afford to have even a drop of urine seep through. I feel as though this box should come pre-assembled, with the top removable and the bottom leak proof. Urine on carpet = ripping it up, treating the under floor, and replacing it. With the current construction and my mods, I feel like 127 is very steep. ... show more
