I added an outdoor security camera to my system, and I wanted to run the CAT-5e cable through conduit. First, it looks better and second, it makes it more difficult to quickly cut the line. This kit fit my needs perfectly. I purchased a metal junction box from the big box hardware store and attached the conduit directly to it. Then I used a fish tape to pull the cable through it.
