Ificould give it zerostars iwould. I've purchased other versions of this but this sellers doesn't work. Controllers power up but main unit does not. I tried new power cable with it. Nothing. Do not buy. Like other reviews the chances of you getting a bad one is very high probability. Buy from some other vendor. Can't contact vendor either. Just wasted 17 bucks.

Ok, so here's the thing about this retro gaming console. After reading the reviews, I was a bit hesitant but I'm glad I took a chance. At first I was a bit frustrated with how large the HDMI device is. It was too wide to fit inbetween my other HDMI cables to my TV, although the build quality of the HDMI is good. Luckily, that issue was easily solved with the included HDMI adapter. This made it easy to set up. Then I noticed the controller wasn't responding at all. I put in different batteries and the light turned blue on the controller but still wasn't responding. I simply unplugged the HDMI device from the TV, plugged it back in, turned the controller off, then on and it worked like a charm! It has a very large variety of games for sure! It's a real good value for the money. I was able to play Contra, Metal Slug and so many more. Press the select button to add coins and start button to pick your character. Read the instructions carefully. Be sure that the usb dongle is connected to the HDMI device and also be sure that your HDMI device has power. The instructions say do NOT plug the HDMI device into a regular phone charger. My tv has a usb port in the back, so I got plugged the HDMI device into the usb port from my TV. Don't forget to use the HDMI adapter. Not only do the instructions say you'll get better signal or connection but it's just easier to use and will fit better into your TV or PC. Hope this helps. I think it's awesome!

Item does not work. Please don’t buy it stays on one screen the controllers don’t work definitely not worth the money. I rated it one star because I had to it does not even deserve that. Very very disappointed.

This retro gaming console turned out to be more enjoyable than I expected. The device is compact and doesn’t take up any space on my TV stand. I'm only giving at three stars for right now. Because I looked it up before I bought it, to make sure that it had nes games, and i've got it and i've plugged it in, i've accessed it, and i'm looking at the menu that shows me what systems I can choose from. And nes is not on here anywhere that I can find yet. It has game boy, it has game boy advance.It has game boy color it has sega p s one atari and a couple of others that i'm not familiar with.But I don't see nes anywhere.
