This stuff really works on the dishwasher prongs that were so badly rusted in our dishwasher. It has lasted for months and I think it's going to last. As long as the dishwasher holds out. Easy to use, it's important to make sure you follow the directions completely!

    • Don't waste your money/time...
Very disappointing purchase experience - I made the mistake of providing seller feedback BEFORE actually using the product, and praised the fast shipping, the appearance of the product (NOT the usability, quality, etc.) and such. That said, here is my experience in trying to use the product purchased: The contents of the bottle had the consistency of molasses at FIRST opening, making it nearly useless right from the get-go. The instructions warn that the product sets-up very quickly, but it certainly appears that this shipment was 75% set-up IN THE BOTTLE before I even opened it. Additionally, there were supposed to be 50 caps included and there were only 44 in the bag - I was at first delighted because I thought the order was for 40 caps, but it was supposed to be 50. After spending 2.5 hours prepping my dishwasher racks (Dremel® work, sanding/roughing tines, etc.), I discovered the nearly useless condition of the "goop" in the bottle...#!$%*&^!!! That left me in the position of having no useable racks for my dishwasher and having an immediate need to find another product to do the job. I researched other available products, looked for a local source, and drove 40 minutes (one-way) to purchase another product to get the job done without having to wait for another order by mail. That product also warns that it sets-up very quickly (which it does, so be quick with the brush and cover the bottle opening IMMEDIATELY), but at least it was in a fully liquid state upon opening it. That said, I cannot recommend "Uber Goop". My experience = an expensive bag of 44 caps and the hassle of needing to source a replacement product immediately. The time to completion of this project was 9 hours (including sourcing another product/drive time/etc.), I burned nearly 4 gallons of gasoline, and spent another $23.00 on a bottle of rack repair goop/caps. Really easy to use. This is a cheaper option over replacement of a dishwasher rack. I gave only a 3 for durability as I have not used the dishwasher enough since using this product.

I bought this when the coating in our dishwasher started to come off in places. I didn't notice much, until it started to leave marks on my dishes. I bought this, coated the spots & put the new ends on, and everything is fine now! It worked great, and we are very happy with the results. These went on super easy to my dishwasher rack - a dab of the goo and then slid right on. I've run at least 10 loads and they are all stuck on tight. Wish I had done it when rust first started showing and I could have saved some dishes.
