I honestly didn’t expect much from an automatic toilet bowl cleaner, but this one totally exceeded my expectations. I dropped it in the tank, and within a day, the difference was obvious — the bowl looked cleaner, smelled fresher, and there was way less buildup under the rim. I love that I don’t have to scrub as often (basically not at all now), and the scent isn’t overpowering like some other cleaners I’ve tried. It lasts a good few weeks, and installation is literally just placing it in the tank. No mess, no gloves, no problem. Only minor downside: if your toilet doesn’t flush frequently (like a guest bathroom), the scent and cleaning action fade quicker. But for everyday use, this is a game-changer. Highly recommend if you’re tired of scrubbing toilets or just want to keep things fresher between cleanings!

Just be aware: they are not a replacement for manual cleaning, and their long-term use in the tank may risk damaging internal parts or voiding warranties. So… I didn’t read the instructions. Big mistake. My shiny new toilet cleaning ball took one look at the drain and decided it was time for an early retirement cruise. It dove straight in and vanished into the plumbing abyss like a tiny blue Titanic. Do I know if it actually removes stubborn stains? Nope. For all I know, it’s somewhere in the pipes, still working hard… or hosting a pool party for the sewer gremlins. What I do know is my toilet water is now a glamorous shade of ocean blue, so points for style. Pros: • Turns toilet water into a tropical lagoon. • Makes you feel like your bathroom has a VIP section. Cons: • Without reading instructions, you might accidentally launch it into the great beyond. • Retrieval is… let’s just say “plumber optional, scuba gear recommended.”

I'd give the product itself 3 stars (after using for 7 months). But dropping it to 1 star -- I would give 0 stars if allowed -- given VacPlus' terrible customer service. I don't typically give product reviews, but the VacPlus customer service was so shady and dishonest I genuinely wonder if this product is even safe to use. (If they lie about their warranty, fair to wonder if they're lying about anything else?) Product review listed below, and my email correspondence with their customer service is directly below that. BUYER BEWARE, go somewhere else with your money. ============================== Product Review ============================== Overall: Unless your bowl has stains/discolorations, I would stay away from "color" tablets like these, and instead use colorless bleach tablets (like Clorox). The color richness is inconsistent, dissipating over time as the tablet is used up. More importantly, the color pigment seems to clump in spots, while also settling at the bottom of the bowl (which can be unsightly). See attached photo. Pros: Smells pretty good, the color is a nice blue which makes the bowl seem fresh. Cons: (1) The size of these tablets are very small (compared to the larger Clorox bleach tablets which are shaped like hockey pucks). Due to the greater surface area of your tablet (given each tablet is smaller), the replacement timeframe is far more frequent (and thus inconvenient). (2) The color release is inconsistent. The first few days the blue color is quite pronounced, but this seems to dissipate with over time / with use. (3) The color does not stay in the bowl, the blue pixel colors appear to settle to the bottom of the bowl. Color seems to only be maintained when the toilet is frequently flushed throughout the day. See photo. (4) This product is not as effective as Clorox bleach tablets at preventing the “red ring” that shows up at the water line in the toilet bowl. (I live in NC, where there's some kind of water bacteria that creates "red wing", Google it if you don't believe me, I had to when I first moved down here!) ============================== Customer Service Review ============================== The customer service is complete trash, for two main reasons: (1) Completely dishonest package marketing. The package states "We provide a warranty by giving a full refund or a free replacement if you have any problems or are not delighted with your product. (Not only for 30 days promised by Amazon)", yet when you contact Customer Service, they don't actually give you your money back. They ignore your messages, give you the runaround, and then stop communicating with you. Complete scam. (2) They are extremely evasive, and ultimately non-response. I had to send follow-ups for each reply they provided, and they ultimately just ignored me. This company doesn't honor their packaging or promises, so are they lying about anytihng else? Are the product chemicals they're using safe? My full (redacted) email correspondence with the company listed out below for reference (in chronological order). It kind of reads like an AI bot is writing this? Who knows.
