Because this is the most refreshing house cleaning product I have ever used. I have tried everything from the bleach powders and and a vinegar concoction to Simple Green. The dangerous (yet popular) bathroom cleaners create noxious fumes that give me a sore throat and a headache. With Thieves, I use a small bucket and a cloth rag to clean almost every surface in the house. Painted walls or furniture, and every glass surface sparkles. (When cleaning glass I use half the suggested amount of Thieves and add TWO drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid, the blue stuff, per 1/2 gal water) My leather furniture (yes leather) gets truly clean and fresh. It looks and feels conditioned and revived. For stubborn stains in clothes pre treat with a paste with a 1/4 cup of Borax and wash as usual. For carpet, use the same paste but a little goes a long way so a dime sized wafer is perfect. Take a brush and gently start at the bottom of the carpet stain and with no more than 10 -12 bristles. Then from the bottom swipe in an upward motion. Brush up and out of the fiber 10 or so times. Never scrub down it into the fibers. Next the silver bullet! Blot Blot Blot Blot Blot. I cannot overstate importance of blotting, then allowing area to fully and completely dry. And use white paper towels. (you won't believe what it pulls from our floor) Blot until it is almost dry then cover the area with loosely placed paper towels and tell the kids that room is off limits for 24 hours at least. It is even sort of fun because the proof is there in front of you! And guess what? It smells fragrant and clean! Happy cleaning with Thieves!! ... show more

I use this everyday, and for almost everything. I love the scent (kind of like cinnamon) and that it isn't full of chemicals. I try to use this as much as I can....it seems expensive, but you only need a capful to fill a squirt bottle of water, so it lasts a long time and cuts down on purchasing so many other products I no longer need. ... show more
