Not a moisturizing shampoo. It helps with extra build up if you have psoriasis or dandruff. The scent is more medicinal ( not strong or offensive). Works well but be careful not to get in your eyes—it does sting. It’s a good shampoo to get the job done.

had embarrassing flaky dandruff for years no matter what shampoo/conditioner I used. My new dermatologist recommended using a cycle of Nizoral A-D, Neutrogena T/Sal, and Selsun Blue w/ Aloe. I rotated shampoos everyday (ex. Day 1 Selsun Blue, day 2 Neutrogena, day 3 Nizoral, and repeat). My dandruff was gone within a month and hasn't returned. The shampoos are expensive, but they have fixed my problem when used in combination. I don't remember everything my dermatologist said, but basically each shampoo targets a different phase of the cycle that causes dandruff giving your scalp time to recover and go back to normal. This is a great shampoo when it comes to getting rid of itch, and acne along the forehead line. My forehead acne has significantly cleared up since stopping use of shampoos with various comedogenic properties. However, it is a bit drying on curly hair, which is already curly as it is, but I feel like it has actually make my curls more defined. I like this since it has helped with my whiteheads.     • Fantastic for oily scalps that react to everything!
I have to order this from the UK since it is not sold here. I have a very annoying scalp. This is the only shampoo that hasn’t stopped working after a few months. The minimal ingredients in this work well with my scalp and hair. It can be a bit drying since I only use this shampoo on a regular basis, however I make sure to leave conditioner on a few minutes after using this. My scalp is oily but I also have some annoying thick dandruff I cannot get rid off no matter what I do, in one tiny spot at the back bottom of my scalp. However it is now minimal. I also have dry hair, however I only wash my scalp and then let the product run through the rest of my hair when I rinse it out. So it doesn’t damage my hair. I wish this was sold in the UK as it probably wouldn’t cost me as much but the price is pretty fair on here so say from how far away it’s coming. ... show more

I have struggled with dandruff build up on my scalp for a long time, my hair was thinning and dull. I blamed it on the Fluocinonide my dermatologist prescribed. She suggested I try “Clear” dandruff shampoo, and it helped my dandruff, but not the build up, plus it has been difficult to find, even online. Then as I researched other options, I came upon Neutrogena T-Fal. I used it every day for two weeks, and now my scalp is smooth. No bumps and No icky smell. I use it 3 times a week, alternating with the Clear anti dandruff shampoo. It costs a little more than my anti dandruff shampoo, but is worth it, because....it works! ... show more

    • Only thing that helps with Dandruff
My fiancé has struggled with dandruff his whole life. We have tried low end and high end shampoos, tea tree oil, washing more frequently, washing less frequent and nothing worked. Desperate we tried this, and it works! Such a difference! When he doesn’t use it he was huge flakes, and it takes a few times to get it back in control, but great product and only thing that works! ... show more
