I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of these eyeshadow sticks. The shimmer is subtle, and I prefer laying down my concealer and some powder with these on the eye afterwards and they last all day with that application method. The brush on the end of each stick is also highly convenient but I don't often need it as the sticks go on where I want and don't need much blending unless I use multiple colors, which I don't really do. All in all, a great purchase when most cream and liquid eyeshadows cost the price of this set for just one color. ... show more

These are very pretty, but out of 10 colors 8 of them are pretty much the same, I ordered #4. The color payoff is very subtle as well. I like the brush at the end, I just wish the colors were more distinct. Maybe another set would be better, but I was looking for pastels.

These eyeshadow sticks are convenient and easy to use, making them great for quick, everyday makeup looks. I like the neutral tones and how smoothly they apply, which makes getting ready fast and simple. However, the colors are very similar to each other and don’t offer much contrast, so the variety feels a bit limited. They’re also not super highly pigmented, so you may need to layer them if you want a more noticeable look. I bought a single eyeshadow stick from this brand about a year ago and it was as described, a "long-lasting matte" shadow stick, which I liked. So I thought I'd get a set of six "Neutral Shimmer And Matte" sticks and ordered #12 Golden Amber. The description says "Neutral colors such as shimmer are also mature women's favor." I might not be particularly mature for my age, but I'm in that age category and have the typical hang-ups. But these sticks are nottttt shimmer. They are glitter. And glitter does not do "mature women" any favors. I swatched all the sticks on my hand and only one of the six had no glitter (but if I'd wanted only one more shadow stick, I would not have ordered a set). Even if I *had* wanted glittery color, these would not be a very good buy. There was almost no color payoff to three of the glitter sticks, just a sticky streak of glittery particles with a vague hint of color. And the other three colors wiped right off -- I waited about five minutes for the swatches to set, then ran a finger across all the swatches and they smudged across my hand. But only the color disappeared. The glitter is way more tenacious. It sneers at soap. It resists micellar water. tl;dr -- Buy the set if you want long-lasting glitter with a hint of color; don't buy it if you want a shimmery look. ... show more

Great colors for blue eyes. Soft cream style pencils, that last all day. The blending brush is soft but, firm enough to blend. It is easy to clean, also. I will definitely be buying these again.

These are really nice quality and they don’t run in Georgia humidity and heat. They clean easily with a makeup wipe. Nice an smooth application. I like that each applicator has its own brush so I am not mixing colors.
