Flavor is important. This is cinnamon, but it's a more gentle cinnamon. And I'm getting hints of something clove-like. I find the taste to be pleasant. Each has about 40mg of caffeine. Black tea has about that much and coffee is 90mg +/-. I tried one yesterday and was fine. I tried two today and that's my dose. A perfect "pick-me-up" with no edgy side affects.
