I repeat “These are not breath mints!” After a bad case of halitosis, I took one of these thinking it would help. Didn’t help so I took another one, then another,.... long story short I emptied 3 tin cans in an hr. It’s been a week! Now I cannot shut up, I’m constantly shaking, my wife has left me and took the kids with her because I became too much for her to handle, I’ve lost my job because I singing out loud thunderstruck and when my boss asked me to stop I yelled at him YOLO! Now I home all alone, and guess what I don’t care! Am I dead? Because I can’t feel anything, I can’t taste anything and I can’t feel my pulse. I really like these, they give me a boost when I'm feeling tired. But I recently learned that there is sucralose in these. That's an artificial sweetener. And we all know that those aren't very good for us. that's the only thing that holds me back from buying more of these caffeinated mints. As a longtime user of NeuroGum, I've been waiting for the mint version to hit the market. It's honestly awesome. I don't drink coffee, so when I'm looking for an extra boost, these mints do the job WITHOUT THE CRASH. I personally like them better than the gum, because I'm not a big gum guy. I just pop a mint and feel instantly energized. Having said that, the mint feels like there's more caffeine when really it just hits your system more quickly than the gum. Overall, you've gotta try it if you're a fan of Neurogum or just want a replacement for coffee. 10/10 would recommend. ... show more

    • Wasteful & noisy packaging

So, I love the gentle energy and minty-ness, BUT I hate the packaging! I understand that the flat packaging is probably for guys who want to put it in their pocket, but I keep it at my desk. The 6 pack packaging comes in a paper box, individually wrapped with plastic TWICE!, then each metal tin only has 12 mints. SO WASTEFUL and unnecessary! I'd rather have one refillable container with 100 pieces I can keep at my desk. Also, if I throw a tin in my purse, it’s noisy as I walk around, and sometimes the tin opens up and the mints fall out, or mint dust leaks out and gets all over the inside of my purse because the tin has a slight gap opening on the sides. Update: because the tin packaging isn’t airtight, the mints get a little soft within a day or two just sitting on my desk ... show more

This was an impulse buy when I saw it on sale but I find myself reaching for these every day now! They've helped me completely kick my coffee habit, even though they only have 40mg of caffeine each (compared to 100 in a cup of coffee). They pair L-theanine (a compound found naturally in tea) with the caffiene and this is an amazing combo which takes away the anxious jitters and leaves me with calm, focused alertness. They've got a strong minty flavor that masks the bitterness of the caffeine well, and use monk fruit and sucralose in place of sugar but don't taste overly artificial. They work quickly since the active ingredients are absorbed as they dissolve, and because of the B-vitamins and the low caffeine content I don't find myself crashing after a few hours. The packaging is convenient to carry around in a pocket or purse, and the tins are sealed individually to keep the mints fresh. I'll probably buy more as soon as I get to the last one, but this multi-pack will last me a while! ... show more

Fresh breath, energy, no calories? Why did they not come out with this earlier?! And it's not a wimpy minty taste either. You can give someone a nice smooch with no worries. Cute tin box makes them easy to throw in your purse, pocket or car. Great for those times when you need a little pick-me-up but you're stuck in a boring lecture, waste-of-time meeting or dark sleepy theater. I was worried about how it would affect my stomach since I'm usually sensitive to caffeine, but it seemed to be fine. Thumbs up! ... show more

I am currently in law school so these mints were an awesome alternative to drinking copious amounts of coffee which is what I normally do to obtain energy. The mints themselves are pretty big (mento size) and have a strong but delicious flavor. They also provide a little jolt of energy (nothing too crazy) that help me get through the day. I would highly recommend these mints to someone who, like me, needs a little bit of pep in their step but doesn't want to drink too much coffee because of the intense caffeine intake or acidity. Initially I was a little hesitant to purchase this item because I drink A LOT of caffeine (approx 2-3 cups of coffee + preworkout per day) and wasn't sure if it would work for me; but, I was very impressed by how much energy I had after eating a single mint. I tried it mid-workout when I slowly felt my pre-workout wearing off and it gave me a second rush of caffeine and enhanced my focus/energy level to finish off my workout. The taste itself is pretty strong (reminds me of peppermint toothpaste) but it really clears your sinuses and leaves you with minty fresh breath!
