  • single connection
Style: AX3000 Size: 3 Pack
This system works GREAT!!! My daughter and I both work from home. My connection is hardware and hers was WIFI connection. 3 the 4 times a day she will ask is the internet down; my response is no the internet is not down. I have called spectrum out several times and even purchased the Blackhawk router that hold 25 devices and she was still asking is the internet down. I search and search and came across this Netgear WIFI mesh system, some of the reviews was ok and some was bad however I decided to purchase and try it out for myself and I am happy I did. the signal is great thru out the entire house. I have the main router upstairs and one satellite downstairs in the living room and the other downstairs in my den. My daughter have not asked if the internet down since I purchased. I also like it because you have the option to plug in the USB plug with your computer in any of the satellites if you chose to. But for the most part the performance is GREAT hardware or WIFI connection! I will recommend this product if you are having internet connection issues. ... show more

  • Worth every penny! Best network solution for our large home with thicker walls.
Style: AX5400 Size: 2 Pack
The biggest thing to know —if tech isn’t your first language — you plug the main Orbi into your existing router box that’s plugged into the wall. The other Orbi is its “satellite” and helps the internet speed and connection on different floors or areas of the house. This is the WiFi part. This was the easiest home network system I’ve ever hooked up. I’m astounded signal strength is maintained everyone at max right now. The app made it super easy. Signal is FANTASTIC and we have a 4,000+ sq foot house. Only using 2 and strong from corner to corner. I got it all set up within an hour. I love being able to rename the network, label all the connected devices, and control my kid’s individual devices to limit screen time. There’s a pause button next to each connected device listed in the app. If you have a garage hooked to this network be sure to do the travel limits on the door after you change to the new network in your garage door opener app (it’s a safety feature) Then it will connect. This was the only hurdle I encountered. And found results with Reddit and a quick YouTube video. Netgear, I’m super happy so far. Thanks for making a solid product. ... show more

  • Finally WiFi throughout the entire house.
Style: AX5400 Size: 2 Pack
I guarantee you that your router isn't performing the way your company promised when the sells pitch was over. Been there done that, we have a rather large home, more than 3,500 square feet and another 1,200 pool and concrete desk area. I don't care which company we were with and all the bells and whistles plus a multitude of promises, we just never had the coverage or guarantees promised. I finally started doing a bit of my own research and calling or stopping by every electronic store in the city and asking questions and normally got the store sells pitch or BS finger pointing exercise. But, when I started talking with the tech/installer people, one name kept coming up for a powerful solution and extender. Best part of my research was that I didn't need the most expensive router aka extender/boaster and could purchase one that covered well over my entire house and property and at a price that didn't require me going into debt for something I truly didn't need. There's three or four models to choose from and I selected the one that covers 5,800 square feet and it covers every inch of my property plus some and max bars even at the maximum range. Now for the best part of this, I'm no techy nerd and have had to give up and hire someone to finally do what I couldn't accomplish when it came to hooking something up. Setting these two extenders up was so simple that I disconnected them and asked the wife to follow the instructions and see if she could do it. Yep, she did it on the first try. Finally we have full WiFi throughout the entire house and across the entire property. If you are considering these extenders, do Not purchase the three extenders just because you "think" you'll need or absolutely have to have the extra power, because surprisingly you'll have more than you'll ever need with two. Additionally, you can always purchase the third one later if you really need to, but doubtfully will have to. Another plus, no more having to give your WiFi password for friends or family when they visit, this device has a temporary password for your company. ... show more

  • Garbage
Style: AX3000 Size: 3 Pack
Started out great, good coverage across all three floors of my home. After a power interruption, the router came back but the satellites have been acting strangely ever since. One actually came back (first floor), but the second one I could only get back after a complete reset of the system, and now it does not reconnect at all. Advice from the forums is all over the place. I should point out that power failures where I live don't result in "surges". We just lose power. It should never be the case that you have to reset all three devices in order for them to work. On top of that, there are forum entries that indicated that firmware updates for the RBR750 (the main router) and not compatible with the satellites that were shipped with the kit (RBS350). I have gone beyond the final return date, so now it's my problem. Will not buy another Netgear product. ... show more

Now that it installed, works great - 5 stars. The installation was more complicated than I would have liked.

  • Ease of Use but lacks so many features & promises
Style: AX3000 Size: 3 Pack
Lived in a concrete apartment 3 bed rooms. I needed all 3 routers to cover this 1200 sqft home and it still had deadzones. Obviously that's concrete. My real issue is with Mesh Wifi period, not just Netgear. Device Steering is always automatic and it never works. You will always have trouble with devices connecting to the further router & choosing 5Ghz when the device is far away. Stuff like this could be easily solved for us technical people by allowing us to steer devices because we tend to have a couple devices specifically our own that we would like to keep on a set router & a set ghz. I used to own the LinkSys Velops for a couple of year, the connection range is better but the app is more simplified than theirs. Check for other mesh systems that maybe offer better device steering because it's non existent on the orbi's. Atleast Linksys tries. ... show more
