A Light, Smooth Coffee That’s Easy to Enjoy Every Day

Leggero has become one of those blends that really scratches the morning coffee itch for me. I have been on a kick of a local store blend of light and medium roasts and was skeptical of moving to something that wasn't my tried and true. However, at under a dollar a cup, it wasn't too bad an invest to give it a swing when it came time to restock. It’s a lighter roast, but it still brings enough character to feel complete. The flavor leans mild - a bit fruity and a little floral depending on how you brew it, but not weird or awkward about it. It’s the kind of espresso that works well when you want something smooth and approachable rather than bold or intense. As an espresso shot it’s clean and easy to sip, and as an Americano it stays balanced without getting watery. It also pairs well with milk and a bit of sugar, which makes me think of a coffee cereal. The capsules themselves perform consistently in a Nespresso pro machine - I lucked out, as I picked one up on marketplace last year and my dentist office has one. This does not fit the traditional home models. Every pull has that soft crema and the same reliable extraction, which makes the whole process feel effortless. The 150‑count bundle is convenient to keep stocked, and the capsules stay fresh until the moment you brew. This is a solid choice if you prefer a lighter strength, smoother cup that still has personality. Have not tried the other varieties of this brand, but really found a solid ground for myself to explore, at a decent price point.

So I do not actually own the machine that these coffee pods fit, and it's on me for not noticing that in the description. However! I brought a couple of them to work, and I can happily report that the coffee is delicious. Smooth, medium strong, makes fabulous espresso. This is not a flavor we have in the break room, so I'm feeling pretty positive about having a new favorite coffee on my days in the branch office. At the time of purchase, each pod came out to approximately $0.75, which is a pretty decent price for a good shot of espresso. Each pod does in fact - as per product description - make a good 1.5oz of espresso or a 6ish oz Americano. In a pinch they also work well in a drip coffee machine if you cut them open, with two pods per large cup of coffee. Decent size. As they seem like they're pretty shelf-stable, though, I plan to continue bringing them to work - they're great in a professional machine, but make sure you do in fact have the machine that they fit into.

Great coffee with a medium roast and balanced taste

So as noted this is for the PROFESSIONAL machine and not the traditional home models so make sure that you have the correct model prior to purchasing. This is a great price for bulk pods and I like the fact that I get to enjoy a great cup of coffee in a flavor that I really like! It is a medium roast which though a little lighter than I prefer, still has a robust rich flavor! It can be used as an espresso which I do like, it is also suggested as an Americano or Lungo! Pods work well and the pod design keeps them fresh! Just be aware when buying that you have the compatible machine which are listed in the details !

Bold smooth taste

This coffee is very bold and strong. Please be aware this only works in the pro nespresso machines and won't work on the normal ones. I like the rich taste and found it was super easy to pop one of these capsules into my machine. There is no bitter aftertaste just a smooth bold flavour. There is no variety so you really have to like this flavour. I think it's a decent value because you're only paying 68 cents a coffee cup. :)
