Was worried about the automatic frother as that seemed to be what the complaint was from most reviews that were 2 stars or lower. Works like a charm and really easy to control how much of a foam you get. Just came back from Italy last Friday where we judge distance by Cappuccinos per mile or CPM and I've got to say that this little unit puts out a great drink and seems pretty straightforward to clean. Now my father wants to keep this one and I will probably order another for my house. I looked at a LOT of machines and for the price point this really seemed the best. I've had it for about two weeks and I absolutely love my Nespresso Lattissima Touch! I was on the fence for quite sometime because of the cost, but I honestly can't tell you how much money I've spent on drip coffee machines, various coffee beans, numerous creamers, and/or cold brew over the years to get something that tasted even remotely close to a coffee house drink. None of it was good enough that I actually wanted to drink coffee at home. Espresso machines are both expensive and complicated. Who has time for that in the morning? Not me. I considered getting a cheaper Nespresso machine, but wanted to have hot milk based drinks without the hassle of a separate milk frother. After the initial learning curve in which I made a couple drinks that were NOT good, I programmed the creamy latte setting to my exact specifications. Now, all I have to do is turn it on, grab the milk container out of the fridge, hook it up to the machine, insert capsule, push button, and perfect latte. Every time!!! Are you on the fence about buying this machine because of cost, but still go to a coffee house on the regular and/or much prefer espresso drinks than your at home drip coffee? Buy it! I've done the numbers and each latte I make averages $1.25 depending on how much syrup I add and the fluctuating cost of milk. I spent $5+ for a latte of this size at a coffee house. Overtime, this machine will literally pay for itself. I'm buying my capsules here on Amazon (there are subscribe and save options), which makes them a bit cheaper than Nespresso offers. I love my Nespresso Lattissima Touch so much that I look forward to getting up in the morning just to have my latte. At home. In my pjs! I also find myself looking forward to getting home ASAP to have another cup. Did I mention I drink coffee like a Gilmore? Pretty sure this thing would be Gilmore approved. Purchased August 2022. First time I tried to descale, it locked up and wouldn’t work at all. I left their customer service talk me into returning it for them to fix. That was a joke. I got it back and the descaling light has never gone off, plus I can’t get the descale mode to work. I have used it the last 6 months with the descale light flashing but the machine frother finally quit working completely. Of course I just bought espresso pods. So I will use the pods for regular coffee and throw away this piece of junk. $500 for a machine that never worked right from day one. ... show more

I just love this coffee machine. I got a great deal on it, by ordering a floor sample. The manual was easy to read, as it was to assemble and use the machine. Still figuring out the different settings on coffee-milk ratio. This is my second De’Longhi Nespresso machine. My old one was the De'Longhi Inissia with separate milk frother. It lasted for quite some time. It still works, but I was ready to size up. Wish it would fit my travel mug. Otherwise, I would recommend this coffee maker. ... show more

I purchased this product used. It arrived with a crushed outer box and a damaged but uncrushed inner box. Upon plugging it in the descale light was illuminated and the frother had little power despite my attempts to clean the frother with the clean button that you hold down. After descaling the unit, the system works good and I am happy with my purchase. While this system cannot compete with my DeLonghi Eletta machine, it is a great compact machine we plan to enjoy while camping. I just got this machine last week. So far I love, love this machine. Saves so much money at Starbucks. Low space footprint on the countertop. Very solid and precision feel. Makes the great drinks you know and love and some new combos I haven't thought of yet.. Exploring the pods and their strengths right now.
