  • Pretty good, but a few annoying nits
Style: Rice Cooker
I’ve used it mostly for cooking brown rice and making yogurt. It does both well. HOWEVER, there are 3 annoying mis-features: 1. The measurement markings, dark on dark, are darn hard to read, particularly when measuring out water to cook 2 cups of rice. Take a cue from Zojirushi and highlight the measurement markings in a contrasting color! 2. There’s no OFF switch!? I don’t see anything in the owner’s manual about turning it off when done, and none of the controls seems to work as an OFF switch. Is unplugging it from the wall socket really the only way to turn it off? 3. No provision to hold the rice paddle anywhere on the cooker. C’mon! A loop, a slot, it can’t be that hard to design in. ... show more

  • Too many unnecessary features but lacks the more important ones
Style: Rice Cooker
It can cook rice a little better than my instant pot but not the best result. I can cook better quality rice in a casserole on the stove and so much faster. The only problem with stove cooking is you have to check it from time to time and adjust the heat manually. Unfortunately for this rice cooker, there is no option for auto turn off after cooking. Markings on the pot is useless as it's hard to see. But even if it's marked with contrasting color I would not use it as it resulted to very soft rice. I always use equal ratio for rice, 1 cup water to 1 cup rice and the markings tend to have more water. The Set and preset options are very confusing and the manual doesn't really helps. I only use it for rice so it doesn't matter. I was just hoping for a better quality cooked rice and faster cooking time. I don't see any advantage over a $20 rice cooker that cooks the rice faster. ... show more

  • Ok for the price!
Style: Rice Cooker
Price point OK, cooks much faster the induction rice cookers, but not easy to use!

  • Questionable nonstick
Style: Rice Cooker
I really do like this rice cooker. It cooks the rice well and keeps it warm. It reheats the rice well. I did notice recently that there are numerous small spots where it looks like the nonstick is coming off, and it's certainly not from using metal utensils (we have only been using the rice paddles). I'm currently looking to see if there are replacement inner pots. ... show more

  • it works!

The media could not be loaded. So far i like it. But still have a problem, the rice often burns. I don't like the burned rice. It is not good taste!

  • Can't wait to use it
Style: Rice Cooker
This rice cooker design is nice. I am happy that Cuckoo released this version out. I prefer this over the Japanese version, because you can't choose how long you want things to cook, so its annoying. Never bought Cuckoo, because the price is a little unreasonable. This version is much affordable. But cannot use it yet, until kitchen is redone. Edit review after that happens. Edit What I was worrid about was that this rice cooker wouldn't be good cooking porrige or leaving rice in the rice cooking like the knockoff version of the tiger rice cooker at Costco. The tiger rice cooker at Costco is made in the US and they are not following the same standards of the official tiger brand. So the rice spoils, and it's fails at making watery porridge or making other foods need to cook longer or leave at warm setting. This rice cooker was made in US also. So I worried it would be the same. But it's fine, the only thing that screams that it was definitely made in/designed in the US, is that it's "HUGE" ... show more
