I have several of the 10Ah LFP batteries in a small, off-grid solar system. The oldest battery is about two years old and has been working well this whole time with no measurable degradation. They've worked great with both cheap PWM and more expensive MPPT solar charge controllers so long as the charge controllers are set to "lithium" mode. I generally have my charger set to "bulk" charge to 14.4 volts with a 5 amp current limit, hold for "absorption" at 14.4 volts for 2 hours, then "float" at 13.5 volts. I've done tests with each of the batteries I've purchased and the batteries all hold their specified capacity (10Ah, in my case). The BMS successfully protected the battery from over and undervoltage conditions by disconnecting the battery if the voltage exceeded the rated limits Pros: - Lightweight. - Inexpensive. - Built in BMS for safety, cell balancing, etc. - Use standard F push-on connectors common among small batteries of that size. Cons: - None observed.

The lead-acid batteries in my old 2015 CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD died. (I didn't find out until the power went out and I needed them! The UPS gave me no warning ahead of time.) I replaced them with these and it works just fine. And the UPS is now six pounds lighter! The only downside is that LiFePO4 has a different discharge curve than lead-acid, so the UPS doesn't really know what the charge on the batteries is. But they charge up completely, and I ran them down and got the full energy out. These should last much longer than lead-acid batteries do. That's why I bought these lithium batteries instead of cheaper replacement lead-acid batteries which are $45. These work, have about 10% more capacity, they're much lighter, and should last many years. I'm happy.

Update (5/3): Nermak customer support contacted me through Amazon and offered a solution. This is a good battery and was great while it was working. Thank you for taking care of this issue. Changing the rating to reflect the overall experience. Original (5/1): The battery died and won't hold a charge anymore. Tried looking for how to contact Nermak with how they indicated in the listing (Amazon order page & Nermak Amazon store) but there is no information at either to contact customer service. Seems intentional to discourage people from doing so. Hope someone from Nermak sees this review and contacts me.

This battery worked flawlessly for what I needed it for. Small, lightweight and held it's power. I'm planning on doing a TikTok video to review it. I order it with a charger and it relieved all my worries about operating portable with my ham radio. The 10ah battery was perfect and had no problem being transported in my carry on luggage. I'm planning on building a battery box... hopefully I can go for a bigger version.

Now LiFePO4 price has come down and lead acid has gone up, it makes sense to try a supposedly more durable battery. I was concerned about compatibility with the current APC unit using a 7AH lead acid. This one is a perfect fit and after a couple of months is working fine. It will be 5 years before true longevity will show. 2023-10-24 update. Turns out the LiFePO4 battery does not function well in the APC Back ups. The form factor and software would indicate it's a drop in replacement. However, when the line current is removed, my desktop computer loses power and does an uncontrolled immediate shutdown. This does not happen with a sealed lead acid battery. Less power demanding devices such as the LED monitor and network switch stay on. I'm no electrical engineer so can't say why this happens, can only report it.
