I recently rescued 2 GSD siblings 12 years old. They are extremely spry and healthy and the male is obsessed with chasing and retrieving. I have purchased 12 different "fetch" toys and this is by FAR their favorite. The squeaker is hilarious but doesn't even last a day but that does not diminish their delight with this toy. They both walk around with this in their mouths and it is the perfect size and bounce for the male to snare it in the air on the run. This squeaky toy is fabulous! Squeak never died with 8 hours of off/on play with only a short puppy nap. All the other past favorite toys were ignored. This ball was PERFECT. The color of the ball is poor for outside play and who wants to play catch or fetch with a bouncing ball in the house? Bright orange or almost any other color that would show up in the grass, weeds, bushes, etc. would have been a better choice for outside play. I have a special needs dog and she is absolutely obsessed with this ball. Great price on it comparing to other balls at pet stores. She had one for maybe 6 years and lost it in the backyard. The squeaker had come out of the old one but really stood up well to years of daily abuse. Was lucky enough to find the same ball on Amazon and it’s like she never lost it. We have a 100 pound German shepherd that literally destroys every toy and ball we give her, except this one. She can get the squeaker out pretty quick but, I prefer that. These balls last about 6 months with her constantly chewy them and playing with them.

My dog loves to play with this ball. It is big enough (4") for him to throw around without it easily going under furniture. It is a perfect size for my German Shepherd and it is very durable.
