Very nice unit, smaller or tighter clearances than the Winco model, but works well no issues. The unit fits a standard full size steam pan but does not fit a shaffer water fill pan. That pan is larger in size. The Winco unit doesn't have any issues fitting either. The Nemco only has tolerances to fit your ordinary full size steam pan. Confusing I know but just an observation; not a deal breaker. But only 4" or 2-1/2" deep pans. You can't use 6" deep pans when the well is only 6-3/8" deep. The manufacture calls for 1-2" of water at all times. ... show more

    • Makeshift bread warmer.
So far so good. Were using it as a make shift garlic knot warmer. Using a hinged dome lid as a top and a drain shelf on the bottom of the full pan to keep them out of the moisture that formed on the bottom. Works perfect.

Fast delivery even without Prime. Seems well-constructed, heats up fast and looks nice. I'm a petite woman and I find it's not very heavy for dumping the water out of the tub. Fits 1/3 6" deep pans OK because they're tapered on the bottom allowing room for the water. Anyone buying this should be aware that it might not be able accommodate a full 6" deep pan , but can hold a 4" - according to other people's reviews. I don't own any 6" full, so I can't verify this. Good quality. We've used Winco in the past and been loyal to them, but they weren't available and these has good reviews so have them a try. Very pleased. In fact have to be careful because they get to hot at times.

    • Seller made good on a defective one..product gets water hot fairly quickly.
So, first one came quickly, but defective. Tripped our GFI on 2 separate areas of the kitchen. Initiated a return, and the seller sent a replacement. The second one came, worked without tripping GFI. Yay..but, we heard something rattling inside, and the knob that turns this on was sliding in and out of its hole. We took the bottom plate off(unscrewed) and found that the knob assembly inside was not attached and the 2 screws and nuts were what the rattling was all about. We reassembled that area, nice and tight, found another nut loose, secured that and placed the bottom plate back on. Everything still works, and now all nuts are tight. Shipping was not kind to things that were not tightened correctly. It was an easy fix for us. The warmer seems like it will give us what we want and appreciate the seller standing by the product and sending a new one for the defective one. ... show more
