Packed nicely, regained its shape within 4 hours. I purchased the 3" twin size topper, and the one I received fit exactly over my twin mattress, so a perfect size. This mattress topper is moderately firm, which when laid over my current foam mattress, gives an additional 1" firm support with 2" of sink-in-for-the-night softness. The pad is all one type of foam, let me be clear. It has just the right amount of give, and springs back to form 15-20 seconds after getting up from it, even with a mattress cover over it. I would recommend it for anyone with a futon that's gone lumpy, a mattress with hard spots, or a cot that's just plain not ok as it has saved my shoulder and hip from the normal morning soreness I had as a side sleeper. It does retain some warmth, but not as much as you would think given that it's made entirely of foam; I did not end up in a pool of sweat even with my fuzzy winter blanket. Rolling over is still easy, you will not get trapped in the softness like some pillowtop mattresses can do. Overall, the first night on this pad was the best sleep I've had in the last 4 years. Extremely happy with this item for the quality and price. I'll update this review if there are any changes in the future, but for now I will enjoy the restful nights. The box and packaging said Homdox, not Nelaukoko, but I will assume that Nelaukoko is only the name of the distributor, not the brand itself.     • Improves comfort, think about 3" vs. 2" memory foam thickness
New bed in a facility was very hard, so needed a foam topper. We ordered this 3" memory foam topper. Positives: -- Definitely added some softness and comfort to a hard bed -- Arrives very compact, then takes a day or two to "bulk up" with air -- Easy to install on the bed, fits well under a fitted mattress pad or fitted sheet -- Eliminated the pain experienced from the new hard bed -- No smells or "off-gassing" of the product (we selected this brand specifically to avoid this) -- Hypoallergenic. Seems totally fine and we appreciate that feature. -- So comfy we bought another one for another family member a few weeks later! Caveats: -- Just be aware that the 3" is really 3" thick memory foam. -- Body heat: The 3" pad can get a little hot because you sink into it and are surrounded by soft foam. It feels good and supportive, but can be hot if your room temp is already warm. The 2" might feel better. -- Movement: A person sort of sinks into the 3" and can't really roll around much. This is not a problem if this is your goal, but the 2" may be better if you like to shift positions in the night, or if you get up during the night to take care of business. Just something to be aware of. We will never know if the 2" would have been better because we liked the 3" so much, that when we went to order the second one, we just stuck with the 3" because we wanted the same result.     • Huge improvement in sleep!
My husband ordered this after I was telling him about waking up stuff and with back pain every day, sometimes so bad it took several minutes before I could stand up straight. (We have a Tempurpedic Firm mattress that’s fairly new, but this is a long term issue). I wasn’t super excited to spend money on a mattress topper, but based on this price point and the reviews, we decided to give it a try. I removed the foam pad from the box and rolled it out on to the mattress. Once I had it positioned, I cut and removed the plastic to allow the foam to expand. I was pleasantly surprised that it did not have that horrible foam smell. I allowed it to “fluff” for a couple of hours and then put the sheets back on. I slept on it the first night and have been absolutely floored at how much better I sleep. I don’t move all over the bed anymore, I don’t wake up with back pain. It is so unbelievably comfortable. Hands down one of my best purchases on Amazon. If you are looking for something soft but still allows your mattress firmness to be supportive, this is an excellent option. ... show more

I have a king size split SL# (not wanting to put actual brand name - but you get the idea!) bed. We are both > 70 years old with aches & pains (hips, shoulders & backs). We both tried multiple SL# settings - for firmness. My husband gave up on the bed (over period of several years) & moved to the guest room. I am giving this foam pad a try - looking to improve my comfort level. I do believe I am more comfortable - nothing is perfect. This pad shipped quickly, odor free, easy to unpack and put on the bed. I am so happy I bought this memory foam topper! At first I was a little worried that the three inch topper would be too much, because when I sat on my bed with it on I sunk deep into it. I got it because my memory foam mattress was a little too stif and I would wake up with lower back and hip pain. After sleeping on it for a few nights, I am so happy I got it! It’s like sleeping on a supportive cloud. It cradles me while supporting my body and I haven’t woken up in pain, at all. I got the two inch topper for my daughter’s bed and she has been sleeping so well, it’s even harder to get her up and out of bed for school. It says that you don’t sweat on it and it has holes, but I sweat while using it. I had to not use it anymore.
