Bought this as a first midi controller for plug and play support for Ableton Live 11. Ports right in to use as a function support for a lot of DAW’s. (Stop/play/record/move play head) from the keyboard itself. Keys are plenty big and it’s ultra portable. Just get it.

    • I’ve been waiting for this controller
I’ve been waiting for a controller this size with full DAW integration to come out for years. I’ve got 49 key controllers that have excellent DAW integration but always wanted something I could just throw in my backpack when on the road to use with a laptop. This thing odd my answer. So far I’ve tested it with Reason 12, Reaper, Mixcraft pro studio, Bitwig, and Studio One 5 and it works like a charm with all of them. Set up is easy, transport controls all work flawlessly, and it’s so tiny and easy to transport. This is my new favorite mini sized DAW controller by a long shot. Well done Nektar! ... show more

    • Great feel.
I love small keyboards that allow me to move to different areas and not be stuck to a desk. This one has a great key bed. The action is wonderful.

    • ...the USB connection has been the weak link on this MIDI controller
In my experience the USB connection has been the weak link on this MIDI controller. I bought one where it was dead on arrival; my DAW couldn't fully connect to it though it saw something was there. Tech support from Nektar was great and issued a refund. I really like the feature set and decided to try buying another one. It worked great at first, but I quickly came to realize that even a slight bump to the USB would disconnect the unit, and after a few times unplugging and re-plugging the unit, it was just like the first one, there but not functioning. That was just after the regular return timeframe, so I ate that cost. I decided to go with a brand that uses a USB-C connection. ... show more
