This hair straightener brush has a nice balanced weight to it. It feels very solid in your hand and is noticeably heavier than a standard curling iron. I like that there is a bit more weight to this brush because it makes it easier to guide and pull through your hair. This is a brush, but because there is no bristles it functions slightly different than a normal brush. The iron has a multi-slotted heating element that you brush your hair through. It heats up quickly and has multiple heat settings to adjust for any hair type. The heating element has a safety cage on top of it so that you don't scald the skin of your hand, scalp, or neck when straightening your hair. It also comes with a heat protecting glove so that you can quickly style without having to worry about burning the hand that helps guide your hair through the iron. The power cord is a heavy gauge wire and it swivels 360 degrees in the brush base so it will not twist and tangle the wire. I like that there is a digital temperature indicator to ensure that I am using the correct heat and if I forget to turn it off, it will turn itself off after 30 minutes, plenty of time for most to get their hair brushed. So far, I've had great results with using this straightener and I can get my hair perfectly smooth in 15 minutes or less. I'm not sure how well the negative ions work, but I do not seem to have much frizz after hot brushing with this unit. I think this is a great straightening unit and much easier and safer to use than the traditional spring loaded heat press flat irons.

This straightening brush heats quickly and is simple to turn on and adjust the temperature. It does work and straightens hair. I would prefer a regular straighter for my long hair though. This takes more time because you have to separate and hold minimal sections to use the brush.

This is a fantastic hair straightener. It makes me wonder why they didn't make hair straighteners like this in the first place instead of putting your hair in between to flat irons. My hair is what you would call straight according to their manual. But I have a lot of waves in it too from a perm a very long time ago that left my hair with a slight wave in parts of it. And this seems to keep increasing as I get older. It looks more like kinks than waves to me anyway. Before I would take flat irons to it when I wanted all of my hair straight. But I am always open for new ways of doing this so I thought I would give this a try. I was happily surprised at how well it worked on my hair. Even after some time my hair was still straight. That doesn't usually happen with the other types of straighteners. And I only needed the lowest setting to get it to straighten. And with the flat irons I always needed it to be at its hottest. And it seems to be easier and faster than the hot irons. It gets hot quick too. Automatic shut off after 30minutes. I really like it. I will be using this instead of the hot flat iron type from now on.

This is a really nice hair straightener. It feels solid in your hand, and it's very well made. It has a protective piece over the area that gets hot, so even my 9-year-old can use it without me worrying about her burning herself. She is super excited about this. She has long hair, which makes it hard for her to straighten her hair herself with other types of straighteners. This one is a breeze to use though. It heats up quickly, and it glides through the hair with no issues, as long as you have your hair brushed out of course. And the cord rotates, so it doesn't get tangled up when you are switching sides or moving it around. It comes with a glove as well, which helps to hold onto the hair and protects your hand from any heat that may bother it as well. Overall, I am super happy with this straightener and would definitely recommend it.

This straightener heated up very fast and straightened my hair in only a few passes. The “bristles” are a little different in that you kind of have to place chunks of hair in the brush then brush it through. You can’t really “brush” your hair traditionally with this straightener brush because the bristles are hard and connected. That being said, once I got the hang of placing pieces of hair in the brush it was very fast to straighten my whole head. I have wavy, fine hair and the 370 degree setting was plenty heat for me.

The first time I used it to straighten my hair, I was a bit skeptical whether it would work fine bcoz of its design... But the end result was simply awesome.. Best for a beginner like me.. I simply used it just like a hair brush, but it still straightened my hair nicely.. Next time, I'm gonna try curls (still learning how to use it). The plus point is its efficiency... I'm glad to have it.. Also, I recommended it to my friend.

I didn't know what to expect with this straightener so I kept my expectations low. I have to say, this totally wowed me. My daughter has super thick wavy hair and I was able to straighten her hair in a matter of minutes! I kept the heat low at 380 degrees and just had to comb over and under each section. It took out the waves and the frizz. It's nice and small as well so I can take this when I travel. It comes with a carrying bag and glove which is a great perk too.
