I loved these lenses. The material is good. It's slightly heavy, but I believe this weight helps with the stability of the camera, which is very small. If you have a Sony ZV-1, know that when you were recording video in 4K with active stabilization, the 24mm lens drops to 30mm, but when you use this lens, you go back to the initial 24mm. You only reach 18mm with all stabilizations turned off.

I have a Sony ZV-1 and before I felt like my face was always so zoomed in but with this on it feels much better. it also makes the camera look cool so bonus points for that ! I would say it also makes the videos come out more clear with the colors a little more enhanced which is great in my opinion. I 100% recommend !

The media could not be loaded. I love the wide angle lens it matches my camera so perfectly. It gives my camera that WOW LOOK. The only thing that didn’t satisfy my needs was that it did come with a scratch (on the right side where the screw is ) but it’s not that noticeable to others but close up I can see it personally. I love how it didn’t come with an adhesive sticker to mount the lens. It’s easy to put together and screw on. 10/10 would recommend :) I’m going to give it all together 4/5 stars because of the scratch itself. Also it gives your videos that wide look that we all want !

If you are planning to get this lens for your Sony RX100, be prepared to do some extra tweaking. This lens is not intended for RX100 and it won't work with it out the box, at least with VII version of the camera. The extending part of the camera's lens is slightly wider than the internal diameter of the extension tube. The difference is just a fraction of a millimeter but it is enough to block the lens from expanding into the tube. If you have tools you may shave the metal ring of the extension tube and then it will allow the camera lens to expand. The second problem is vignetting (after cutting the ring in order to work with the camera). RX100 in photo mode or in 1080 video will have black corners with this lens. Vignetting is not an issue if you: 1. Use active steady shot image stabilization as it crops the sensor enough to cut out the dark corners. 2. Shoot video in 4K which is cropped by nature in Sony RX100 VII I still rate it 5 stars, since RX100 is not an intended camera for this lens.

I purchased a “new” one but when I received the item it didn’t have its original tapping. The box was sticky and the lenses are all scratched up there was even a hair on one of the lenses.

Update: A year after I purchased this, the clamp part that goes over the cameras lens cracked and fell off. I contacted Neewer and they sold me just that part. This company is amazing! The instructions were a tiny bit confusing, but I finally figured it out. And this lense is pretty awesome! I have a smallrig on my zv1 and this luckily fit with that on, cause with the bulk and weight this lense adds I'm glad I have that extra handle now. I've only used it for a few clips, but so far it doesn't seem to have any distortion, which is great. And it makes the camera much more manageable for vlogging. It's kinda heavy, but that doesn't bother me a whole lot. And it came with a lense cap, which some of the questions had be wondering about. I trust Neewer as a brand overall because their products are always the highest quality and this lense is no exception. I'm glad I got found it!
