    • DESIGN FLAW: AWKWARDLY LONG BATTERY RELEASE PULL.
Style: without 15mm Rods
You can notice the battery release stick is just too big and it is sticking out too much. It prevents any camera screen from closing. There is no need to design the release this long.

Does what it claims. In hindsight I should have gotten an adapter that gives more output options but will use this on a b rig that has a d tap splitter.

I've been slowly getting into videography with my Canon R6 Mk II, and I've been learning all about these accessories, including carbon fiber rods, clamp plates, V-mount batteries, etc. Currently using a Smallrig cage, it works well with this Neewer kit that includes the central clamp, a QD plate, 2 15mm carbon fiber rods, and a V-mount battery plate. It's a whole kit to get you started. At first I was thrown off by the QD plate because it uses one 3/8" screw and one 1/4" screw, and I was trying to figure out how to mount this to my Smallrig cage. Then I realized I could just use the cage by itself and not worry about the QD plate. Way better this way. Using the included carbon fiber rods, I was also able to attach my Smallrig follow focus system instead of needing to mount it to my camera cage and extend it forward. I can also use a V-mount battery, placed either upright or laying flat, while still maintaining access to my screen and controls. And, if I want to, I can mount the whole thing to my tripod. It's a very beginner-friendly all-in-one kit to get you started with mounting all these accessories, and I would highly recommend it. ... show more
