This is my third Newer TT560 over the last ten years. Extremely simple to use and downright reliable. No unreadable menus on a blanked out LCD screen. No TTL capability. Wireless flash triggers available from other third party manufacturers. PC cords and other extras readily available and not proprietary.

This isn't the most feature-rich flash on the market, but works very well for beginners in photography or to throw in your pack as a backup. I'd absolutely recommend it to friends an family for these purposes. Simple, plug and play operation along with Neewer quality make it very worth the money. Included stand expands versatility as well. I use it on a Canon 5D Mark III.

Compared to some orger budget options this flash is great. It charges up fast and even has a sync cable port so you can use it as an off camera flash. Overall great flash that can help you progress as a photgrapher.

I bought this flash unit when it cost about $30 a few years ago just to check it out. I don't use flash much and definitely don't get into synching but this is so simple to use and experiment with. I can experiment and adjust things more quickly than the expensive Nikon flash units with deep menus. Works great when I set an old D7000 to rear synch, too.
