This tube light is pretty versatile and has lot of options in terms of color and brightness, etc. I've been using it as a portable light source, and sometime it can also work well as fill light along with other LED lights.

My use case is a home office YouTube studio to produce talking head content. Once I discovered tube lights, I loved the idea but the "pro" level ones seemed ridiculously expensive for my needs. This particular one is great--it's big enough for my small office and I've picked up some smaller lights from Neewer and have some really cool lighting options now. If you need to use it for daylight/5600k, this tube has you covered. There's also an app where you can dial in RGB colors (they also have some "gel" presets) and then it has the effects that I will never use, but they're there. I'm not using these for run-and-gun projects so I've literally set them up, connected them to power and they just work. They claim 2 hour battery life at 100% power and from the one time I tried that, I can say that's pretty accurate. The only downside to these lights (and all of the other ones I have from Neewer) is they don't always reliably connect to the app. Sometimes the only way to get them to connect is to delete them from the app and connect again. It's a bit of a pain, but I can live with it. Once they are connected, they seem to work fine, I'm just not sure I would feel super confident using these to shoot a wedding or something important that wasn't in a studio setting. As mentioned, I bought this light, it's lived inside in the same spot and has worked just fine (minus the BT issue). For the price, it's just fine for my needs.

Overall great light. Same customizations as they have on the LED panels but it’s far brighter than the panels. I purchased two of these and they were fantastic for all the shoots I used them for.

I bought two of these ahead of a shoot that was going to take place in a barn. It's a small-budget thing, but I'm a self-equipped DP and I like my crew and I to have good gear. These did not let me down! They last a pretty long time and charge pretty quickly. I never needed light to be full-strength but I had them running from full charge over two hours for various setups at maybe 40-50%. I really had fun showing a couple of the guys the light-matching function. I aimed the app at the director's Mountain Dew can and it immediately pumped out this crazy green color and we were in love. In one night, I used the light augment moonlight, incandescent, and ambient wood-tone light (yes, wood-tone) to eliminate some background shadows. Love these and will probably buy more of them.
