I have become a fan of Neewer products. After buying the Q4 with transmitter, I bought the Q3 for when I need a smaller light fixture and as a support to the Q4. Plus the transmitter controls each light separately. In the photos of the child, I placed a Q4 in a soft box and positioned directly above her and just out of camera range and placed the Neewer Clamshell reflector just below the child to fill shadows. Neewer is offering high quality photographic gear and very reasonable prices.

This light is everything I could ask for in an outdoor strobe light. It’s powerful, light weight, and its recycle time is so short. It also comes with a nifty carry case. The battery last so long that I don’t have to worry about it running out of power during a photo session. I use this for almost every outdoor portrait session I do because it’s so much better than my speedlight.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased 4 of these strobes and each arrived with a defective battery (according to tech support the low - battery protection mechanism wasn't activated properly). They would not charge. So I contacted customer service for replacement batteries. They refused to send new batteries, and offered 4 used batteries as replacement. These used batteries only have a 5 month warranty. So now I’ll have brand new strobes with used batteries. Who knows how much life is left in them. But this is the only thing they could do. I even offered to return the full unit for replacement. They would not accept that either. Looks like you get what you pay for with these strobes. Poor quality control, dead batteries and unhelpful customer service. The seller did not even try to help or stand by my purchase, but rather pushed me off in to Neewer customer service.
