The adhesive covers the entire back of the squares but still wasn't strong enough to hold to existing cork. We bought these to put on top of an existing bulletin board since the cork was too thin on the existing board. They seemed to stick very well but within 24 hours they started coming loose. We have bought some caulking adhesive to re-glue them. The tiles measure exactly 12" squares and are extremely well made. They were very easy to install. Very satisfied with product. I am sure sticking to a smooth surface the glue would have been sufficient. Once we get the glue issue taken care of we will have two very useable bulletin boards. Well worth the money.

They are exactly 1/2" deep and I didn't check the dimensions but all 4 squares I got were uniform. I had to cut the last square down to fill the width of my bookcase so the 2nd pic is to show a cross-section--this is really dense, high quality cork, well worth the few extra bucks.

The adhesive is very strong when you first remove the white paper. Therefore, if you are sticking them to a surface, stick them to what you need them for right away. After sitting without the paper the adhesive goes away rather quickly if not stuck to anything. So be sure you've prepped the area and immediately adhere the board. I found the cork to be thick enough to work with thumb tacks and hooks alike.

These all fell off of my wall one by one after installation for a dartboard backing protection. They are too heavy at whatever thickness they are. They would be great for a project where you could apply additional adhesive and really do look like quality material.

This product did the job. The 9 pack was just the right amount. Had to cut a few of them and had no problems. Seem to be holding up fine after about a month. Now the board is usable. Time will tell on whether they hold but the product itself is great.

I bought this, cleaned my wall with plain rubbing alcohol, stuck them up, and could immediately tell they would not stay. They didn’t. I came in the next day and they fell. Ordered replacement thinking (it could have just been that one set that arrived bowed). Not these were flat as a pancake except for a TINY curl which I corrected by temporarily curving the tiles the other way. Voila! Same thing. These adhered better but by the next day, they were all on the floor. Not a good product in my opinion.
