    • Does just about everything I need!
Great rig and the fact that I can use it on flat or rounded surfaces is a major win and the only reason I ordered this rig. I have a magic arm that is flat surface only and another that is rounded surfaces and now one that is in my kit at all times that I never have to think twice on if I have the right rig. This rig is set up right and even when I have had to go outside of the norm it held up excellent. I needed to expand the jaw to the point that I thought it would not be stable and that I would not be able to lock it down firmly enough to hold a larger DSLR camera and lens. It did fine and I was able to add a light and an additional cold shoe for an audio rig that I have along with using the 2 built-in shoes. It was a Frankenstein rig out, to say the least, wish I'd had another camera to take a pic of the setup. One of the features that I really like and wish I would see more often on magic arms is the grooved balls for the arm adjustment. having the groves makes it a lot easier to get it set just right without having a lot of slop in the ball heads just to get them to be adjustable, and then having to lock it in with a lot of hand torque. There are 1/4 20s all over this arm, 12 of them, my only wish was that there were a couple of 3/8 as well. I have used this now about a dozen times and each time I've never had to stop and figure out how I was going to rig to this or that, grab it, install it, and load it up with gear. Highly recommended.     • Solid double clamp mount for so many applications!
I use this double clamp mount to secure a small camera gimbal on boom poles and bicycle handlebars. The main point is that once adjusted and clamped, everything stays just where I want it, despite any shaking or vibration. Nether my mini-camera nor my gimbal have accessory mounts, so the cold shoe mountings on the clamp hold those – a plus because it does not cause the gimbal to become unbalanced, or to have to compensate for additional loads. This mount is one of those things I never knew I needed until I got one, but now I would never be without it. Excepting large diameter poles or tree branches, this double clamp mount holds far more securely than the “bendy-twisty octopus” style mounts. I also use this indoors to hold lighting on tripod mounts, as they are far easier to position quickly and hold almost any size lamp assembly and can even hold a flat-sheet reflector for bounce!     • One of the most used pieces of equipment I own.
This double superclamp is very strong with minimal slippage once it's locked down onto something. I've clamped hand fans to desktops, umbrellas to tripods, and light poles, I've even had to use this to hold open a broken window shade in a hotel with this. There are just so many uses for a great superclamp and this one by Neewer delivers. And it's super portable. I take it in my carry-on bag just to make sure it's with me.     • Very versatile, and feels well-made.
This thing has more degrees of freedom than I can count. I can't say how well it would support heavy loads, but it clamps tight and has a solid, quality feel to it. I twisted it into various configurations, and it held well in all of them. I think it's quite handy.
