I have a Canon R5 that I will occasionally use with a Feelworld monitor mounted to it. I have another monitor mount that I have been a bit disappointed with so I hoped this would perform better. Thankfully, it does. This Neewer mount solved the issues I was having with the other mount. Firstly, it fits easily and mounts very securely to the hot shoe on my camera. Screwing into the body of the monitor was easy and the spring loaded anti-twist pin works perfectly. The other mount I have has a pin, but it is not retractable and is longer than the hole in the monitor so I was never able to tighten it down perfectly. That was huge. Also, the arm used to tighten the swivel is large enough to easily torque down and the action is subtle enough that you can set it have the perfect amount of swivel resistance for angle adjustment. You don't realize how important a little piece of gear like this is until you have one that doesn't work quite right. This mount gives me one less thing I have to worry about.

I'm just a prosumer level user and picked this up to connect my field monitor to my camera's hot shoe. My monitor is fairly small and lightweight, and this mount had no problems for me. I'm a big fan of the thumbscrew quarter-twenty for the monitor mount. that way you don't have to disconnect any cables and twist-on the monitor like my previous mount. This has a high-quality feel to it and feels very strong. This is a little heavier than other options, but that speaks to the materials in use. I'm glad I picked this up and would do it again and I can definitely recommend it to others.

After a recent video shoot using my Ninja V monitor on a quick release mount that kept loosening and twisting around, I wanted to use a different mount that wouldn't twist on me. So I decided to order this one and I am much happier with the result, and this stays firmly in place and doesn't twist at all. Once I had everything tightened down and mounted, it stayed just where I put it, and felt really solid as well. This is a nice monitor mount.

Nice, solid piece of gear. Strong tensions holds my monitor in position nicely. Appreciate the design, looks a bit nicer than the usual offerings. Very simple to use, and I feel like my monitor is secure, which is a 7" model. Feels like it will last quite a long time too. Happy, and would get again.

this cold shoe I use it with my two monitors I have and my Sony camera rig. its easy to adjust. a lot of futures . the monitors don't move around unless you adjust them which that is good. its very thick and no a cheap material. the angles are smooth and its not in the way of anything.
