Assembly calls for two ppl, I was a one person show. Took 6.5 hrs with breaks. Very very tedious. Instructions were simple and easy to understand. I used a drill for some and then screwdriver to not split the wood. Once completed, I couldn’t help but marvel over it. Sturdy and good quality. I’ll have to get Velcro strips for the remote to not lose it. Heats up the living room space quickly and I love the timer function on the remote. I searched a great deal for fireplace tv stands and believe this one is worth the money paid. Gives me nostalgia vibes of the old school floor tv my gparents had with the fireplace as an added addition. I love it so much! I plan to pair it with a matching set of bar stools to match the aesthetic. The size is great for the space and color is just beautiful with the woven pattern. ... show more

One of the boards arrived broken- but thankfully it was in the back and didn’t affect the sturdiness of the piece. It takes FOREVER to assemble, but once you get going it isn’t too bad. Pay close attention to the directions, I missed a step that was a little hidden and had to take most of it apart. 1-2 person assembly. The fireplace gives off a lot of heat. The TV stand is great. Color is a gray brown wood grain so it blends with everything. Rattan door and drawer fronts keeps it light and airy. Fireplace is pleasant, crackle and warm settings add to the ambiance. Instructions are clear, but note that it takes patience and many hours to assemble.
