I needed something that was QUICK and EASY on my shoots, usually talking head run-and-gun setups. This softbox is just that. I don't have time to worry about unpacking, putting in a dozen rods before even getting my lighting dialed in. This lantern allows me to unpack, pop it open, place it over my light and I'm ready to start dialing in my strength. The light is soft, even and flattering for any subject. The diffusion is just right for my needs and the time and ease of setup makes my shoots more efficient.

I needed something better for my real estate shoots and this works perfectly. It's a bit bigger than I wanted to bring around when it's not in use but it's not horribly large. It's easy to set up, fits through doorways easily and fills rooms with nice soft light and seems like it'll last. I wish I bought this a long time ago.

Alright it’s not exactly small when it’s in storage mode, but it does feel pretty durable and it’s decent for the price, no major issues. The one thing might make this better is if a skirt could be included with the lantern. The larger model of this (which I also purchased) includes the skirt. It’d also be cool if this had a grid if that’s possible as an accessory

First, its packaging is great, so great that I kept part of it for storage. Next, it literally takes seconds to set up. It’s so easy. It’s well made and with the bowens mount it is easily attached to any of my neewer lights. The size I purchased gives off enough light without intruding in the scene. The softness of the light it produces is fantastic.
