This is seriously my favorite knee brace!! It has plenty support and stability, and is a huge help on my bad days, but isn't too much support or rigid either. I can still go through my full range of motion... At least as much as knees are supposed to have, instead of too much movement. They're also the only ones I have with minimal shifting, and require less stops to pull them back up into place. I've tried multiple other brands, and several of the ace brand braces, but they all either don't fit me in any way and are either way too tight in the legs but okay at the knee, or fit my legs better but are so loose at the knee it's pointless to wear them. Or they shift, and slide, and fall down my leg every 20 minutes. These ones while they do shift, esp if I wear them over clothes, it's minimal and nowhere near as often. If I wear them against my skin they shift even less, which is awesome. I think the one downside, is that it is p noticeable through clothes. They fit under all my clothes just fine, but the gel pad is noticeable especially since I wear a lot of leggings and skinny jeans. When I'm I'm longer dresses or skirts those obviously cover them but, it's something to keep in mind. That said, I love the gel pads. They also kinda cushion or knees if you trip and fall, or fall on your knees doing sports or dodging children and dogs, and they make kneelimg down to be cleanimg through lower cabinet shelves and drawers more comfortable as long as you aren't kneeling more than 20 minutes or so at a time. Much more than that, and it gets a little pinchy. These are seriously my favorite though, and do everything I need. If discreet is a huge deal to you, they definitely wouldn't be number one to try, but otherwise I'd say theese are well worth a try if you've had a lot of problems with other brands! And in transparency, I was given a giftcard offer, but that just incentivized me to actually take the time to sit down and finally write this review, I have been meaning to for a few weeks. ... show more

I own a variety of knee braces thanks to crappy knees and worn out cartilage and barely perceptible meniscus. Most often I can just get by wearing a sleeve, but occasionally when I've overdone it the day before, I'll need some stiff support for a week while the knee heals back to its baseline. I bought this brace to fill the gap between the super-duty brace with the external metal parts and just the fabric sleeve, and because it was the much cheaper alternative to the Bauerfeind which after years of use became worn out and finally had to be put to rest. This brace is well made, thick, and has great elastic recoil and does a great job with compression. The compression and heat that it provide definitely helps my knee feel better and with the thicker material and internal ribbing, has more stability and structure than just a simple sleeve. That being said, the stability offered by the side ribs is about average. Nothing particularly amazing. It's better than having nothing, but not by a huge margin. It's noticeable, but not amazing, and not even close to what the Bauerfeind offered. The patella pad kind-of helps stabilize my kneecap, but again, just barely. However, both of the internal ribs and patella cushion are soft and squishy and doesn't have any pinch points. From looking at the pictures I thought for some reason they were removable, but they're sewn in. Of course, this particular brace is a copy of the ridiculously expensive Bauerfeind knee braces. When comparing between the two, it's clearly evident that this one sold at a fraction of the price is a good copy, but it's just not as good. The most noticeable difference is that the knee pad isn't as comfortable or as supportive as the more expensive original. The lateral support is definitely not as strong either. For the price I paid, I'm satisfied with what I received and it functions well, but I'm going to save up and buy the original because that truly is noticeably better and I really miss how quicker my knee recovered and how much more supportive it was. ... show more

I have a torn meniscus and a slight fractured tibia after car accident, flipped a Corvette... its not enough for surgery but still hurts. Dr suggested ordering one of these. I picked this one as it looked comfortable. I've been warring it for 2 days now and I can say YES it has helped immensely. I'm 5-11 190 fit I followed the measurement chart and ordered a large. It fits snug but not too tight. if does not slip much at all even warring it all day. very happy with it. I would order again but... kinda hope I don't have to like ever again. ... show more

I first purchased this knee brace and I mistakenly otdered a size to small. It kept slipping down and I wrote a quick review about it. This company seen the review, and offered to send me a size larger for free. Since receiving the next size up brace, I want to say that the larger brace is the best brace I have, and I have five different braces. I want to highly recommend their brace if you have serious knee pain. They have more support and are more comfortable than any other brace I own. I just thought I owed them this much for their spectacular customer service ! You have a quality product and fabulous customer service to go along with it! Pretty rare combination these days.
