I have an “S” curve scoliosis . I’m currently playing the waiting game with my doctor to see what can be done. My back pain is so bad that I can hardly move and when I walk, I’m not walking straight standing up I’m favoring my right side of my body. I’ve tried many back braces on here and none of them are sturdy, just Velcro. I came across this and read that it has that lumbars which would help would back support. It got delivered overnight thank gosh and I love it. I can finally walk straight and standing up. My back pain is less severe since the brace is helping my posture and compressing my pain . It does roll up a little in the front but it’s no big deal. Best brace I’ve had. I weight 200 pounds and the XL is a great fit . The support is great and it’s totally worth the money. I’d recommend this to anyone who is dealing with scoliosis and our poor healthcare system , works great!

Because of inherent scoliosis, very bad posture habits, recent emergence of bulging disc, spine curving the WRONG WAY, I was slipping into a perfect storm of no return with my back. Posture correctors were not cutting it. I couldn't even stand up long, walk too long when once I would walk for miles & miles, go home & walk again to another shopping center nearby some few miles away--many years ago. I immediately found this supportive & helpful. It is appropriately curved the correct manner according to the spine. This is professionally designed. There was some immediate pain relief, there are straps for the adjustment of support level. Be careful not to get the wrong size!! Read & rather go UP A SIZE! If you have a bulging disc, a too tight a fit will disturb the disc. I think size is one of the major reasons this product is being returned. I ordered another & hope to get a new one, not a returned one. Size up! My hope is to get my spine back into some sort of alignment if I wear this consistently for at least one year. I did not quit on posture braces! I wore both at work today! I walked around almost straight with no pain. I am getting older, so I can only hope this will adjust things with time. It helps you but you must put into this your own effort to stand up straight.

I had major back surgery. The brace the hospital sent me home with finally broke. This was a good alternative. No skin irritation and is breathable. I have good support. The quality is good on the tension straps. It is easy to use and effective. The Velcro is on the lighter side so you will need to adjust it from time to time. It does run very small. So size up 2 times. It is washable which is very nice. I wish it cinched a little more on the top part of the brace so it doesn’t quite hug the upper part of brace around my mid section.

With scoliosis, I have consistent back and hip pain. I found this and liked the larger size (XL) option and adjustability. It is well made and not too bulky. I showed this to my Physical Therapist and she really liked its design and the support it provides. She was good with me using it when work in yard or doing some cleaning/lifting to provide some extra support. It is easy to put on and wear. Overall for the price it is a very nice back support and allows me to be a little more active in my house and yard alleviating some pain.
