I've used this product for almost a year to date, purposefully waiting for a year's worth of use prior to giving my lengthy review of it. I ordered the Nectar Premier King Mattress 13" - Medium Firm Gel October of 2024 and it has been my primary mattress since. I researched mattresses for a while prior to choosing this Nectar mattress, comparing it to the multitude of similar products. I've been beyond impressed with everything about the mattress. It was my first experience with a "expandable" mattress. I opened it and let it expand for 48 hours (24-48 per instructions I believe). It expanded almost immediately (pictures attached) but filled out as it continued to sit. (Not sure how some people have issues with it not expanding, maybe a faulty mattress or customer using it right away when it they clearly say to let it sit for some time prior to use. I understand some may not be able to do that due to space restrictions, but I was able to place it on the ground in a spare bedroom during that time.) After that time, I moved it into my room and have used it most nights since. - It has held up great over the year, showing no signs of slumping/sinking/divets, and more importantly cannot feel any changes in how it feels as you use it. - It's very comfortable, providing memory foam cushion while also supporting your body as you sleep. I feel like my sleep quality has improved using this mattress. - One of the features I was most interested in was the heat level/retention in the mattress. I'm a hot sleeper that wants to be cool/cold as I sleep (60-64° inside would be perfect for me) so I definitely didn't want a mattress to "warm" up with body heat. Although I have no measurements of it, I honestly think the mattress "breathes" itself and does NOT retain much body heat. I've been very impressed with that aspect of the mattress! - There is minimal movement in the mattress when your partner moves/ gets up. It was one of the biggest differences from my prior mattress and still holds true 1 year later. My bed partner gets up before I do most days, and I do not feel them as they get up or moving during the night. Overall, I'm still very impressed with the mattress and think it is great value and has proven to hold its value over the year of use. 5/5 10/10 would recommend and have recommended to others since purchasing. (Photos 1. packaged mattress 2. freshly opened 3. 1 year overall 4+5. Cushioned foam and bounce back/retention of mattress form.)

Reviewing after first night. Mattress expanded to full size in about 5 minutes. Minimal off gassing odor, could smell it with nose against mattress. 3 hours later no more odor, and therefore slept on it the day it was delivered. Surprisingly feels like you sleep more on top of the bed than sink in, wife said the same. Still has a plush top layer feel though. Her hip pain was much better throughout night and following morning, she felt better supported and didn’t sink in where that little bit causes alignment issue and subsequent pain. I’ve had two lower back surgeries and woke up feeling better (happen to be going through a flare up now). My spine felt more in alignment on this nectar premier and wife and I both said how comfortable this mattress is on first night. Purchased on a prime day sale and so far we’re both extremely happy to have chosen this bed. Very comfortable, helps with back and hip pain, slept cool (top layer is even cool to the touch!), and feels like a very well designed mattress.

I purchased the king size version of this mattress during Amazon two day prime event in October 2024. The first mattress never reached its full expansion size. The head of the mattress was at least two inches lower than the rest of mattress. The corners and side of mattress also never expanded properly. These defects were noticeable after leaving the mattress in place a full week after purchase. Needless to say I returned this item for a replacement. The pickup of this mattress was another nightmare. Amazon gave me a 9:00a- 12:00p window for pickup. The driver showed up at 10:00a and told me his truck was already full. He said he would return at the end of day to pickup mattress. He never showed up at all on my scheduled pickup day. I was livid. I waited at my house all day for a pickup that never happened. I called Amazon customer service to find out why my mattress was never picked up. They gave me no real explanation only another pickup day. The driver arrived on time and removed the mattress from upstairs bedroom. While bringing the mattress down my staircase the mattress caught my led rail lights installed on baseboard. They destroyed the lights. After calling Amazon customer Service they agreed to reimburse me for the lights. I thought that was fair, but I still had to reinstall the lights on my staircase. You might think after going through this experience with the first mattress why would anyone order a replacement. Shame on me I did. I requested a replacement instead of a full refund. All I really want to say about the replacement mattress is that it is worse than the first. Not only does it have similar problems with expansion it also sags in the middle and has zero edge support. My wife and I slept on it for two nights. I woke up with hip and shoulder pain. My wife said she had a horrible nights sleep on it. I am returning this mattress also. I have requested a full refund. I usually don't write to many reviews on Amazon. I make exceptions to this when product is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. From my experience with two Nectar mattresses this item definitely fits the exceptionally bad category. This mattress might be suitable for a giant dog bed, but not much use for humans. Absolutely the worst mattress I have ever slept on.
