I dont want to put too many photos on this right now, as I want to get a box spring to go with it and it doesn't look as good as I'd like for photos here for review The main thing I'd say to keep in mind with a mattress like this, is that if you get something like this, you need one of two things: 1. Box Spring (I haven't tested this out yet to see how everything will feel, but it's to give you stability) 2. A full frame like you see in the image that has a full base. What I mean by full base is that the base is entirely all one solid piece. Not like a usual frame with gaps. No, this would be one that you set a bed on entirely The reason I say this is, I have a frame, but it's one of the usual ones, and you will sink into those gaps in a usual frame. This bed isn't meant to work with those So I'd say if your willing to dish out the big bucks for this get one of those nice frames, would be my recommendation A box spring that's got solid metal bars and can hold a lot of weight is another good option if you want to go that way Now, how sleeping on the bed is: Honestly, after sleeping on a bed that had past it's expiration for a little bit now, I was extremely happy to lay down on this. My back no doubt has been messed up from my last bed, but last night, sleeping on this new bed, I could feel all of my back no doubt fixing This majorly helps. I slept so well and rested that I didn't need more than a few hours before my body was like, "you've dreamed for what usually feels like hours on end, you can wake up now" Good sleep. The kind of sleep you only get from a relaxed feel like that Honestly the feeling I get laying on that bed is like melting into it. I just give in to the bed, and lay now in proper posture, and let the bed do its work You do not want to get up It is a bed that is entirely worth its price point Nectar, I havent got a bed from you before, but I'll be sure to buy from you from now on if I can

I’ll update this review after I get some sleep time on this thing as I’m still waiting on my bed frame. Mattress showed up shrink wrapped in the box in perfect condition. I decided I wanted to unpack this thing and give it a good 5 days to expand. Unfortunately for me the mattress only partially expanded on one side as I’ve read has happened to many other reviewers on here. I also noticed that my particular mattress was manufactured in Aug of 2023 so not sure if it was shrink packaged for an over extended amount of time. Anyway I decided to do some research and see if there was anyway to get this thing to fully expand and heard that people have had success steaming the mattress to revitalize the memory foam to begin expansion. (This is frowned upon directly from nectar) but I figured I’d give it a shot as I really didn’t feel like going through the return swap process. Other reviewers had done swap/return only to find the new mattress to have the exact same issue. Anyways I took a steamer to the flat areas of the mattress and to my surprise it worked perfectly and the mattress is now fully expanded. I will update this review after I get some time on this thing. I’m hoping for the best. Update, after a couple of nights of sleep on this thing its a night and day difference in comparison to my old traditional mattress. Aside from the issue with the bed expanding I am looking forward to sleeping on this thing. 4 stars only because of the expansion issue and I believe nectar needs to do some manufacturing updates to prevent that.

So this is actually my second Nectar mattress! This is both a size upgrade and upgraded technology from our previous one that we got a few years back. I already loved the first, but this one is even better! One of the things I love the most about Nectar mattresses is that they transfer very little movement. I can sit a cup down on this bed and move around a bit and it doesn't tip over. We have 3 very clingy cats, and one who's less than graceful and likes to thump around, so this is important for us lol. He was disappointed that he can't shake the mattress lol. The ratio of softness to firmness is great for me. I feel supported, but it also feels like sleeping on a cloud. At first I struggled to get out of bed because it is incredibly comfortable. I sink in a little, but it also supports my pressure spots. My fiance has scoliosis so this is also something very important for us. If you like a really firm mattress, this probably isn't the mattress for you however. The gel layer is one of the big upgrades between this one and our old Nectar mattress and it does make a difference! The older one did sleep kind of warm, which is typical for foam mattresses, but this one is much cooler. I sleep hot and have bamboo sheets for this reason, so I'm very happy that this one is a cooler mattress! The only things I'm not crazy about is: * The mattress cover is kind of hard to remove and put back on. It's definitely a two person task * The mattress expanded slightly more out of the cover, which made it more difficult to put back on I'd recommend getting some kind of mattress topper to put over this one so that the other doesn't have to be removed often. Otherwise, Nectar mattresses are my favorite thus far! I don't see myself getting another mattress brand, and expect that this one will last for a long time.

This mattress is comfortable in the exact middle. The sides are dangerous and cause discomfort. There is no support on the sides making you roll towards the floor. My son has rolled off the bed taking a nap, with stacks of pillows around him, because the bed and gravity make it impossible to lay anywhere except the exact middle.
