Supportive Without Being Too Firm

We were previously using a thinner mattress from a different brand, and after switching to this one, both my husband and I noticed a surprisingly big improvement in our lower back discomfort. I spent a lot of time researching mattresses before buying this one, and I’m really happy with the choice. The corners and edges do feel a little softer than the center, but overall the mattress provides very good support. It’s comfortable and cushioned without feeling overly soft, and it’s definitely not rock-hard either. I’d describe it as somewhere between medium and firm, leaning just slightly toward the firmer side. Very firm mattresses can actually make my back feel worse, but this one feels just right. It supports my lower back well while still allowing my hips to sink in slightly. Overall, it feels very balanced and comfortable. Definitely recommend!

I only wish I bought this sooner!
I had been needing a new bed for a couple of years but always held off for fear of making a "bad" purchase. I work construction and push my body, I spent the last year waking up in pain every morning. I tested every bed in a mattress store and I couldn't get this one out of my head....Amazon's price was a little cheaper so I took the leap and purchased. BEST decision! For reference I am a 5'0 145lb-150lb woman and primarily a side sleeper, sometimes I like to sleep on my back but often find most beds make it too uncomfortable for me. This one hugs me in all the right places whether I'm on my side or back. I prefer a softer bed and was nervous about the Med-Firm but this one has been great, I feel totally supported without sinking in or feeling like I'm on a board. I would be happy if it was a little more plush but it has still been fantastic. It's got great support under hips/shoulders and the feeling I get when I lay down after a long day is second to none. Ive had it about 2 weeks now and I'm still excited to crawl into bed every night....on the weekends when I get to sleep in I don't want to leave it! If you needed something a little more firm the memory foam would probably be the better option, I had a Nectar memory foam years ago that was just a little too firm for me. I slept on it about 4hrs after opening as it inflated quite quickly. There was some off-gassing for the first few days but with the window cracked and an air purifier running it wasn't bad at all and I have not noticed any further odor. I haven't gotten a frame for it yet so it may feel a little different once I do, if after I get a frame I notice any major differences I will update my review. Overall this has probably been one of my favorite purchases and I feel like an absolute queen going to bed at night. It's got a luxurious feel for middle class price!

If you want comfortable night sleep, this is definitely the bed for you. And the cost is incredible.

I spent literally months reading and watching reviews for beds before finally deciding on this. It's my first time buying an adult mattress and wanted to make sure I did the work to ensure I enjoyed it. I was looking at the Dreamcloud Premier Hybrid and then a friend mentioned he and his gf loved their Nectar Premier Hybrid. I live in PA, they live in FL so I couldn't just go check it out but I decided his endorsement was enough. I did watch a review on Youtube where the reviewer had "I'm Still Sinking" on the thumbnail but I figured he's just being dramatic. I slept on it the first night with my boyfriend who tends to hog the bed so I wasn't in love but figured I'd give it another few nights as I tend to not sleep well with him sometimes (we don’t live together). It's just been under 2 weeks and I can honestly say this bed is not for me. If you're looking for soft, like too soft, this is the bed for you. I like a soft top with more firmness underneath. I want to lay down after a long day and say "Ahhhhhh" with a big smile on my face. As I mentioned I watched that YouTube video where the reviewer said he was still sinking. I didn't fully understand what he meant until I had to do a virtual appointment from my bed and I kept having to adjust myself and my MacBook because babyyyyy... when I tell you I was sinking like the Titanic, I mean it. And then because its a memory foam top you can struggle to move a little bit so I wouldn't recommend for less mobile folks. I had no issues with any off gassing odors, I had absolutely no neck/shoulder discomfort. I do love pillows but I had to be careful and only use 1 when sleeping sometimes as the sinking would have my neck contorted (side/back sleeper here). Anyways I will likely start the process of getting it returned and either drag my old mattress back in here or perhaps buy the Dreamcloud Hybrid Premier as that one has less of a sinking feel. Oh also this mattress is supposed to be 13" just like my old mattress but I'll say this: NONE of my fitted sheets fit this bed right. I can make my bed and not even lay on it and yet it looks like I made it a week ago and haven't bothered making it since. Sorry, I'm not hardly impressed by the cooling either. In fact, I have sweat on it more than once. Theres almost no cooling.

Small box, large Hybrid Mattress!!!!!

Nectar luxe 14in hybrid mattress (new version) with 6 layers of support. Suppose to be Medium Firm, but after 3 days it’s still softer than a firm. Sorry I had to edit, my entire review didn’t post initially and I had to wait until posted. When the NECTAR box arrived my hubby laughed at me stating, “you are going to be sleeping on 6inches of foam”. Well he isn’t laughing now!! We rolled the mattress out of the light plastic and it was double folded, once a little slit was made in the heavy plastic it started puffing up immediately. The Nectar Hybrid Luxe is NOT just a memory foam mattress, it has 6 layers of innerspring coils, pocketed coils, memory foam, pressure relief, a cooling layer, Hybrid motion isolation layer, some of these might be the same layer, but this Luxe hybrid has spring/coils. The mattress is a queen at 80x60 14in tall and a whopping 113lbs heavy and had a white cotton material top cover. When I took the pictures the mattress was still puffing up. Later that evening my poor German shepherd crashed into bed, not realizing the new mattress was 6in taller and Nectar mattress was standing 14in tall in the bed frame. He’s ok, 1st night he got off the bed and stayed on his own, by night 3 he was happily back to hogging my side and the middle, so he approved of it….. Prior to purchasing this Nectar, I spent 2 days laying on furniture store name brand mattresses. If the Nectar was sitting side by side with a name brand furniture store one, NO one could tell it rolled out of a box. Ok, my opinion! The Nectar is softer than firm, it hugs your body, gives pressure relief so you feel rested, I swear it puts you to sleep better! I am SO happy I picked this mattress, it helped my daughter has 2 and I have napped on while babysitting. Great mattress, great value! I do suggest if you are not happy wait 24-48 hours, the mattress needs time to get settled.

Great bed for a great price

I am only 2 weeks in but the mattress is very comfortable. I have chronic back pain and this mattress doesn't relieve the pain but doesn’t send me into spasms like other mattresses. I really do hope this mattress maintains well. I was really hoping the premium with the 60% cooling would help, the only reason why I marked it four stars instead of five is because just 10 minutes in one spot I can feel my body heat radiating. I’m a very hot sleeper though. But I also don’t burn up like a lot of other Memory foam mattresses. For the price I think it is very fair. Overall, would recommend.

Very comfortable. I have had the King sized matress for about 6 months now and it is easily the best mattress I have ever owned. I sleep between my side and back and this matress has some of the best support out of any other matress iv ever slept on. If your considering this mattress I say go for it! Its well worth the money.
