This mattress is the perfect combination of firm, yet has some give to it. Unlike other brands, this bed does not give way all the way down to the bottom. When you get into bed, it has a point where it stops giving and holds its firmness. Not sure if that makes sense, but hopefully it helps someone out there. We love this mattress and my husband and I sleep very well. We have a king size and are in our late 40's. It does have a cooling aspect which helps because most foam mattresses get very hot. Return policy in the event an item is defective. We received a defective mattress, It is a massive pain to return or exchange since Amazon demands you to return the mattress before anything can happen. Have you ever tried to return an opened full size mattress? I have called several times and Nectar tells me I dont have to return it, yet Amazon says to "Attach a label to it and we will send someone to get it. " yet no one has called to set up a pickup or reached out to me in anyway.. So They have my 1300 dollars and I have a defective mattress. sleeping on the floor. This is not how a company should do business. I am not clear if it is Amazon and their non english speaking "agents" or nectar and their AI driven Email system that is causing the problem, but the result is the same.. Me and my husband purchased this mattress after having separate twin king mattress with the adjustable base, we were tired of the crack! 😅 we both love firm, we gave this one a go because of other reviews saying it was very firm, however I would say firm loosely, we almost returned after 3 days because the firmness was not there, however after about 4 days it seemed to completely fill out and the mattress seemed to get firmer over time… it does still have a bit of cushiness but overall is a great mattress that is is medium firm I would say. ... show more

They do not state anywhere that buying through Amazon doesn't cover any of their warranties or advertised promises. This mattress is so uncomfortable, and it hurts our backs.
