I do not like building furniture but I needed my bed set up so I had to do it. The hardest part was bringing the box into my home and up my stairs. Delivery men left it in my front yard. I ended up having to open the box on the stairs and taking the pieces upstairs. Once I had everything there I was able to set up the bed easily. I appreciated not having to use tools! It did not take long at all and the quality and appearance of the bed was very good. The wood was smooth and the color was great. The slats have velcro attachments and fit the frame well. I had a queen mattress in the guest bedroom that I brought over (that was difficult as well) and placed it on the bed. It looked fabulous and there was no movement or squeaking. The bed feels sturdy and definitely looks durable. Great value for the price and I am so happy I chose this frame!

I am pleased with this bed frame. I got the twin, and it was fairly easy to assemble, even for a senior woman like me, all by myself. I found the instructions confusing, as I usually do, but this frame was so straightforward, I barely needed them. After all of the pieces were out of the box, it took me about 35 mins to assemble. The hardest part was that even though the pieces interlock, they did not do so smoothly; I had to push down forcefully to join them together, so now the frame seems pretty stuck in its assembled state, which is fine unless I were to attempt to disassemble it someday. The frame looks cute and fits my twin mattress perfectly.

Biggest piece of junk ever!!! Very cheap wood frame that was splintered and scratched right out of the box! The person helping me actually got a splinter in her finger during the installation. BTW, because of this person's medical history, they need to be careful about getting foreign objects trapped under their skin. The wooden support slats were very flimsy, and I was afraid I was going to get splinters in my hand during installation. Also, the holes DID NOT LINE UP for placing the slats on the frame, and one of the pegs to secure the slats actually broke off. I personally own a THUMA (which I would highly recommend to anyone), but it comes at a much higher price point. Still, I did not expect this piece of cheap junk. SHAME ON YOU NECTAR!!! SHAME ON YOU, AMAZON!!! I ordered this bed for my 92-year-old mom's caregiver. I live 1.5 hours away and came to help install the bed. Afraid it will break - definitely not a 500 lb support as in the description. Multiple scratches right out of the box, and as mentioned, splintered wood. The BBB would not approve of this for sure!!! Also, it took 3 people to put this cheap TWIN piece of junk together. I put my QUEEN-SIZED THUMA together by myself, although it was much heavier. Waiting to hear back from you, NECTOR AND AMAZON!!!! Amazon, you should not be selling cheap junk like. For a vendor to sell anything under their name, of such inferior "quality", they are just out to make a buck. I would NEVER purchase any other of Nectar's furniture at any price point after having this experience.

Let me start by saying this bed frame looks great, was easy to assemble, and seemed extremely sturdy—right up until my 330-pound self decided to conduct some unauthorized stress testing with my wife. Important safety announcement for the bigger fellas: this frame does NOT support east-to-west activities. Apparently, that creates some kind of structural crosswind. You must remain north-to-south at all times, like the bed is a runway and you’ve been cleared for takeoff. One wrong turn sideways and the entire frame sounds like Optimus Prime falling down a staircase. Bolts started filing for workers’ compensation. Support bars surrendered. One of the legs is now living under the dresser. Great bed for sleeping. For married activities, check your compass first. 😂

Overall good bed, good color and easy to assemble. It is very difficult to move once assemble as you can't pick up from the sides, it opens up. The middle base pillars are very weak, it breaks.

Solid bed and relatively easy to put together. I used paint cans to support the post as I was putting the crossbeams together. That made it easier as I was the only one who put it together.

The frame itself is very attractive and was relatively easy to assemble... I'll admit I had help! My only complaint is that the slats are flimsy. I've had it for 3 months. When I get into bed, the slats are not firm and supportive. Instead, they sag under my body. And I'm not a big person!! Some nights I question whether it will support me through the night. The product descriptions says it supports up to 300 lbs. I'd assumed Nectar meant it supports a 300 lb person. If so, I am significantly less than 1/2 that weight. However, I'm using a latex mattress which weighs about 80-90 pounds. Bottomline: The slats are NOT sturdy. It's unfortunate Nectar cut corners on the slats, because otherwise, I'd have given this bed 5 stars. I'll admit, I did NOT contact their customer service, as I do not see a defect in the slats. They're ALL made of a very light, bendable wood. I see this as a design flaw.

This is without a doubt, the best recent years purchase, if not ever, of furniture, that I have ever dealt with. The construction, and the thought that went into it, is suburb!!! I would most DEFINITELY recommend it!!!! We bought this and the wooden headboard that goes with it. EXCELLENT +
