Love this platform bed. It fits the mattress and the room perfectly. Some frames stick out beyond the mattress and you hit your shin when walking by. This one is solid. Easy to assemble. Quiet and attractive. I highly recommend it.

    • Sagging in the middle frame, by design it seems

Sturdiness: Middle legs not touching ground has caused bed frame to sag in the middle, and with any movement, the flimsy middle legs get pushed to the side so they aren't providing support. Avoid this bed to avoid sag in the middle, unless you like that kind of thing.

A couple of years ago we were in search of a new bed frame, and my wife really wanted this one that said it was a minimal tool assembly & solid wood construction. That was how we got our first Thuma. And it was great, solid as a rock & easy to assemble. But it was pricey. I figured it was fine, because it was so solid we would be handing this down to our grandkids. A year later, when my youngest needed a new frame, we got a second. But we have a 3rd bedroom. And my oldest moved out 2 years ago. We wanted another sturdy frame, but couldn't see spending too much on a bed that would be rarely used. That was when my wife found Nektar. The frame arrived last week & my wife & child assembled it on their own. I checked & unless you knew, it seems no different than the more EXPENSIVE brand.
