The media could not be loaded. So far, so good! Good value for money. I initially wanted to get a lock with a combination on it so I wouldn't have to carry a key, but an Amazon reviewer demonstrated how easy it is to figure out the code on that type of lock. :( I got the smaller one with the chain. The keys work well. I tested all of them. I can imagine that if your lock is outside getting rained on and dirty, the keys may not work after awhile. You may want to put removable tape over the keyhole to help protect it a bit if you will have this outside all the time. The lock is heavy and solid. If someone comes at your bike with an angle grinder, they will be able to steal your bike. But I think they may have to make two cuts to get this off because the U doesn't really twist much when locked inside of the bar. So that makes it take more time for them, at least. This will definitely stop opportunistic thieves that don't have a grinder. I don't think bolt cutters would be able to cut this. I'll update my review if I have issues with it. If you have an expensive ebike to lock up, I would suggest getting multiple locks so that it takes thieves longer to cut them all. Ebikes are more often targeted because they're more valuable. I feel good using this on my ten year old Trek hybrid bicycle. I made a video to show that the bracket that comes with it for storing it with your bike when not in use is a little problematic. It's tight so that the lock doesn't fall out of it. But because the ulock has a silicone type coating, it's very hard to pull it out of the bracket. That would get frustrating. It would be better if it had a button or something you push to release the lock from the bracket. I plan to just carry this in my backpack when biking. I also like that it comes with a chain, so if my husband and I go out together and make a quick stop somewhere, we can lock both bikes together.

Works great for us. We can use it to lock 2 bikes at once. Comes with 3 keys which is nice. Nothing to complain about. I didn't use the "mount" piece, but maybe some day I will.

First impressions: super high quality, super high customizability, and super easy to use. It has been 4 months now since I got this lock, and I am having little to no issues with it. I like that you have the option to use the chain or not to use the chain. It is a little heavy, but the U-lock fits most locking surfaces. I cannot tell you how many times and how many ways I have dropped and manhandled this thing, yet it still isn't broken. Great stuff. Absolutely worth the money.

This is a nice lock and chain. My wife recently purchased a $3500 electric trike and we really don't want it stolen. I would like the chain to be a few feet longer in order to have more choices how to secure the trike. She recently took the trike to a store. There was nothing to lock the trike to. What she did was lock the basket on the front to the front tire. At least with that the front tire won't spin. If the cable was longer she could lock two of the three tires together to make it more difficult to push away. Overall I'm very happy the the lock and chain. It appears well built and I especially like the cover over the chain. It helps prevent scratching of the paint. I would purchase again.
