I’m in love with this bike, my husband put it together and the pedal assist is amazing! This thing gets up to 20 mph and FAST! Lol I was riding through downtown Dallas having the time of my life. So far so good! The seat is hard and hurts though ;( my butt was sore for a couple of days.

Overall the bike is is ok. Comfortable and travels good! The hub is only 500w not 750w like the listing says. Battery life isn’t all the great. Battery is all the way run down after 18-20 miles. I would Suggest getting something different.

I am not an expert or even experienced cyclist. In fact, until buying this bike I haven't ridden a bike more than a couple of times in the last 25 years, so take my review with a grain of salt... but so far this bike is a whole lot of fun. I was looking for a sunny day around town bike, something to take around town to grab lunch or take out on some scenic multi-use paths and neighborhoods and enjoy the day, and for my purposes this has been a great purchase so far. I'm 6'3", around 260lbs, and the 29" bike seems about perfect for me. I did end up purchasing a 3" handlebar riser, just so I was a little more upright and comfortable. I also installed a more comfortable seat, since the one it comes with is pretty narrow and hard. So far I'm averaging around 25-30 miles of range, on about 70% throttle only, and about 30% normal pedal assist, but I haven't really pushed the limits of the battery to see how much it drops off when discharged. Also, that's based on the level indicator on the battery... the level indicator on the display seems to say I have more charge than the battery does... and I haven't pushed it to find out which is true. With my weight, the 500w hub motor is enough move me on flat ground no problem, but not enough to get up hills with any level of steepness. I also have to pedal a bit to get going unless the ground is flat, but you may not experience this if you're smaller than I am. Also, despite some of the reviews I saw on YouTube, this definitely appears to be limited to 20mph. A couple reviews I saw said this could be unlocked in the menus using code, but that doesn't appear to be true (maybe that's just for Canadian or European models?). But 20mph is plenty for me. Assembly was very easy, as is using the display and the battery and charger. It looks great, and definitely seems to get a lot of looks from people passing by, if you care about that sort of thing. It is pretty heavy, at around 60lbs with the battery and some accessories installed. I find this more of a factor in trying to haul the bike on a bike rack, or hang it on hooks... I don't notice the weight when riding it. One grumble I do have is that the factory accessories don't seem to be available, namely the cargo rack. They seem to be out of stock, not just for this model, but also other brands that use the same chassis. And based on forum posts, it looks like they've been out of stock for 6mos or so... which makes me worried about long term availability of parts and manufacturer support. All in all, this bike is really fun, and seems like a good value compared to the retrofit kits or more expensive hub-drive bikes. ... show more

This comes partially assembled but is easy to complete assembly. There were some slight adjustments that I had to do for the shifting and the brake pad alignments. I liked that it would function as a pedal bike just fine without electrical assistance and when you need it there are 6 levels of assist as needed. Also, this will also work with the thumb throttle alone. I didn't like the seat that this bike came with, so I replaced it with one that I like better for comfort. ... show more

I originally was going to fork over about $2,500 for a full-suspension bike then randomly saw some electric mountain bike ads. After doing a bunch of research I picked the NCM Moscow, it is just a great value. It seems to be of higher quality (they are made in Germany) than many others I saw on Amazon. Also, I found a review online that was pretty thorough in speaking about the bike. Some comments about the bike: • It didn't look that hard to put together but I used the Amazon service which worked well. • The bike has six levels of assist and a throttle. • It also has a USB port so you can charge your phone off of the battery. • The battery seems to last longer than I expected. • So you can use this manually to get exercise but having the electric capability it really opens up the distances you can go. It is also helps limit fatigue from riding up hills. • The motor itself is really quiet which is great. • The tires are Schwalbe Smart Sams which are a compromise between a trail and road tire. Someone characterized it as 70% trail. The tires do work fairly well on the road compared to pure mountain bike tires and they seem to grip well in the dirt. I was looking into swapping them out but I don't see much reason to do so. • The only negative to me is that given the battery there are not as many opportunities to attach things to the frame such as water bottle, pump, etc. I ended up getting a cargo bag that hangs off of the seat and connects to the post which also carries a water bottle and is big enough to place a small pump inside. • Lastly, you should realize that electric bikes are much heavier than conventional bikes, this one weighs more than double my mountain bike. It just changes the riding dynamics a bit. Harder to go up hills without aid, but overall a lot more fun. Overall very happy with it. Just an update, I have had the bike for several months now. It has held together well. I decided to turn it into more of a pure mountain bike and swapped out the tires for Maxxis mountain bike tires what are also wider. Also the front shock that comes with this bike is not great, it is a lower end spring shock, so I upgraded to a true air shock, a RockShox. I added a ThudBuster seat post because this is a hardtail which is a good compromise compared to paying for a full-suspension bike which can be pricey. With these changes I have taken the bike on some pretty crazy mountain trails and it has held together really well. (see second picture for changes). Just received our new 27.5" and 29" E Bikes and am impressed so far. Assembly was simple and had no problems with any of the components, Packaging was done well to prevent any damage. First try and was surprised with the power, be careful, as soon as you hit the pedals it wants to go...Took a little getting used to. Also be sure to stop peddling before breaking. A break cutoff control would be a nice option for these bikes. All the components appear to be excellent quality and they are impressive. ... show more
