  • Important Tidbits
So I read other people's review of this and they didn't really have the info I was looking for so I'll put what I think is important to know in this review. 1. App - you need to have the Bluetooth on your phone enabled to use the app; I did not know this. The app is really good but also meh. All it does is change riding modes, turn lights on and off (which can done without the app), and lock your bike which is really nice. 2. Distance and speed. Reviewers have said "Wow, 20 miles on eco mode!" No, not cool. If you run this thing on eco mode, the top speed of the scooter is 5, maybe 6 mph. Most people can walk faster, I certainly can. Slow modes tops out at about 10 to 12 mph which is a bit better and I did notice it made a difference in battery drainage. One time I was out pretty far and didn't know if I had enough power to get home. I switched over to slow mode and made it home with energy to spare. Sport mode is fastest at about 19 to 20 mph. It only goes about 10 miles though. I live in a suburban area so to get across town is about 5-6 miles. But, if I feel if I'm running low, I just switch to slow mode. 3. Cruise control is great and I have noticed that my battery does not drain as quickly when I use it. 4. Battery efficiency. There are ways to conserve energy on this. If you're going downhill, lay off the throttle. Why waste battery when you have a gravity assist? It does seem to consume more energy if you are going uphill. There is also a slowdown in speed. In some cases it's better to just walk. You'll go faster and save your battery. At the very end, it's still a scooter. If it dies, you can just footpaddle it and it works well. 5. Tires. These are solid tires and I feel every little thing on the road but I'll also never get a flat. I'm considering putting some cushy handle bar covers on to help. I'm not sure about this next part, but the lack of suspension on this seems to really tire my legs. I can't say this is the most comfortable ride. If you're going a long way, it might be more exhausting than a scooter with inflatable tires. It's certainly the case for me. Overall, this is a very nice scooter and the price was really good. I recommend it if you're just puttering around town or commuting. The fold and carry option is A+. As always, know your local laws. Whatever applies to bikes usually applies to scooters (you can get busted for riding this on a sidewalk in my town) and wear a helmet. Cheap bike helmet is fine. ... show more

  • A Great Scooter for Short Commutes
I bought this scooter to commute from home to work, which is about 7 minutes away. I’m very happy with my purchase, as this scooter has many features that make it ideal for short trips. Some of the features I like are: The basic/dual suspension and turn signals, which make the ride smooth and safe. The 19/21 miles range and 19 mph top speed, which are more than enough for my needs. The 8.5" solid tires, which are durable and can handle different terrains. The folding design, which makes it easy to store and carry. The app control, which allows me to monitor and customize the scooter’s performance. The scooter is also very easy to use and charge. It has a dual braking system that gives me confidence and control. The display shows the speed, battery level, and other information. The battery takes about 4 hours to fully charge, and it lasts for several rides. Overall, I think this is a great scooter for anyone who needs a reliable and convenient way to get around. It’s well-made, fun to ride, and affordable. I would definitely recommend it to others. ... show more

  • It’s an okay scooter but any wind or uphill climb it will not accelerate.
The media could not be loaded. I’ve owned this scooter for 2 weeks and not even three days later it started making a cracking noise when turning. I usually take my scooter on trails and on smooth roads i haven’t went in any potholes or anything for something to break it just started making noises. The motor isn’t the best in the slightest windy conditions the scooter tends to slowly drop speed from 19 to 14 even with full throttle on. I weight 175lbs and any slight up hill side walk or road the scooter will not accelerate and will actually keep dropping speed until it reaches 10mph or until the road is flat again. The scooter runs perfectly fine in perfect weather and flat roads i try to ignore some of the cons but i hate when it slows down in windy conditions. Also the braking is a bit lethal if you brake at full speed the rear wheel will lock up and just slide across the pavement flattening the wheel overtime. For this reason i do not brake at full speed but at emergency stops i have no choice but to do so. Sometimes the rear of the scooter can start to drift sideways when the wheel is locked and even then the braking distance is really far. I’m not sure if there’s something wrong with the scooter i received but i don’t think i will be keeping this any longer. THIS SCOOTER FOLDED ON ME WHILE GOING 20 MPH ITS NOT SAFE AT ALL!! ... show more

  • So it's decent very excellent for price
The media could not be loaded. I've never owned an electric scooter before. I am 5'2 and around 230lbs. Very easy to put together but better you you have someone holding it steady, the lock is kinda tough until you "break it in" I have to fold Mike 2x a day. I live in the Bronx nyc with decent hills and i wanna say it does get me up a hill efficiently depending on steepness, even if it's not always as quick. This thing can go past 30mph, like that's insane. The only down fall is it's not durable enough to take falls, I slipped in the rain twice (this was becasue of what i was riding on and not so much the scooter) and once on ice so probably gonna have to go back to the mta if it snows (i believe bikes are easier to prep for snow im unsure how one would do it for a scooter). The breaks are kinda decent if you don't abuse them on hilly terrain like I have. If you drop it too many times pieces are gonna start falling off, my lever to fold and lock it open, is gone BUT it's still sturdy to fold and stay open while riding it. And my break leaver and bell and slightly change position but still sturdy af. As far as the battery it definitely lasts. Enough for city commutes, I've gone from 179 to 125 and still had battery left and then 54 to 110 on less than half battery. ... show more
