So I came back to update review, in case this helps someone else. I found the troubleshooting page, and did what it said, covering the bottom of the pump with the bottom tank to protect the battery and motor, I rinsed the top salt pod container, and the plug with extremely hot water for minimum of 30 seconds to dissolve salt crystals. Then put in the distilled water and new salt pod, and viola! Back in business! Even though we have cleaned thoroughly after each use, the high concentration of salt is prone to have crystal build-ups and clogs. SO HAPPY it is working again!! I would give 5 stars for the way this machine works, and the results, but 1 star because it stopped working suddenly altogether. My daughter really likes the Navage system, she says it does a good job flushing her sinuses and helping her breathe better. That being said, when she tried to turn it on to use this last time, it would not turn on. We replaced the batteries, and still nothing. We have taken great care of this, cleaning as instructed after each use, and letting it dry on the caddy we purchased separately. She’s super bummed that it just stopped working after only a few uses. I’m upset also, as these things aren’t cheap, and I was happy to finally have something to help her be more comfortable.

I woke up this morning feeling congested, but producing nothing when I blew. This is the first time I used this after using some end of the year flexible spending. I was super nervous bc I am the girl that can't even swim without pinching my nose closed. It didn't hurt, and went faster than I anticipated. The "dr pimple popper" side of me was highly satisfied with what came out! Be sure to read the actual instructions 1st, not just the box top or you will waste a pod like I did. There were a few occasions where I did feel some water make it into my oropharynx, but I did not feel like I was being waterboarded. I have had some residual drips since, just have tissue handy. I can definitely breathe better! I hope this little machine lasts. For now, 5 🌟

It takes a few tries before you master how to put it together, use it, and take it apart, but this really cleans out the mucous! Just keep you mouth open with tongue against palate. Be prepared to have lots of tissues handy because if you remove it too soon or don’t have a perfect fit , it will open the nasal floodgates. But feels great to unplug the nose and clear the sinuses.

My husband said it works well and is easier to use than a manual netipot. You have to bend over quite far so the liquid doesn't go down your throat. As someone who was barely rescued from drowning at a lake when I was 3ish, I can't make myself try it.

This is a very good product. I was concerned that it would be uncomfortable to use, but the rinse is very gentle and does a great job. The cost is pretty much equal to a doctor's appointment, so very justifiable in order to stay healthy. I'm very glad to have made the purchase.

Not a drop of water ended up in the bottom tub because I had to spit it all up when it went down my throat- none made it around to the opposite nostril. Throat is sore from gagging and extra post nasal drip and nose is still congested. I feel awful and my shirt is soaked in water and snot. I really really wanted this to work as I’ve had to deal with awful head congestion my entire life. I followed all directions and suggestions in the instruction booklet a nothing. Rotated to nose piece and adjusted it a dozen ways in my nose. I tried holding my breath even and it built a bunch of pressure and then just leaked down my throat… like the water just couldn’t go out my other nostril even though it’s not 100% blocked. I know this product works for some people- but I’m just so upset it didn’t work for me and left me with an awful sore throat. The instructions end with a note “just keep trying- it’s worth it.” I just don’t want to torture myself anymore though. I wish there were more certain methods to make it work. It just left me in pain and sad. I wouldn’t recommend as you’re just gambling your money away not knowing whether it will work for you.

I've been a dedicated Navager for many years now and my former Navage served me well for 5+ years. When she finally gave out, I ordered this newer version. There don't seem to be too many differences in what I had and this one, but it looks slightly more sleek (if that's a thing for something that blows snot out of your nose :)). Prior to Navage I used the sinus rinse bottle and that worked ok, however, the Navage has a lot more power behind the stream and I feel like it is really getting everything cleaned out and most important keeping me healthier.
