    • Nice jacket for mild winters
UPDATE: The issue I had with the lining getting caught in the zipper came to a head today. I had zipped my jacket all the way up because it was rainy and windy. Later, I could not unzip it at all because the lining was caught in the zipper. It was extremely frustrating. I can't recommend this jacket due to this design flaw. I like this jacket. Glad it says "parka" in the item name because that alerted me to expect a puffier jacket, and this is indeed puffier than my other anoraks. With a sweater on underneath, it is slightly snug but not uncomfortably so. Haven't tried it in super cold weather, but it's fine for our CA winters (55ish degrees where I am). Some minor quibbles leading me to deduct a star--Hood is generous, which is good but also bad because it'll fly off your head in windy weather. Not a fan of the faux fur around the hood but the trim is unfortunately not removable. I have a dog, and microfiber DOES attract dog hair, so beware of that. It says "water resistant" (not "repellent") so I will not be wearing it in really rainy weather when I expect to be outside a lot. It's dry-clean only, too. Lastly, the sherpa lining is super close to the zipper and DOES snag. This prevents me from zipping up the jacket quickly, as I have to carefully pull the sherpa lining away from the zipper. Something not related to the jacket but rather to Amazon delivery: The delivery status says "handed directly to a resident" but it was actually left on my stoop.     • A very stylish coat
The child and I saw this coat at Marshalls but they didn't have her size. Sooo, because the child refused to get a puffy (aka quilted) coat I looked online and Amazon is the only place that had it despite looking at other stores as well as Nautica itself. Weird, right? Amazingly, the coat arrived within 20 hours! Now about the coat. It's just beautiful, especially with the faux fur lined hood. The forest green color is very complementarily and the fit is just right. We ordered the medium and the child is about 135 pounds, 5 ft 7 in. There are a lot of stylish features like the zippered pockets up top. You can detach the hood. There is an inside cord that you can use to cinch in the waist to prevent heat loss.     • Pretty warm, but......
I was a little disappointed that the inside of the coat is not entirely covered with fur lining like I thought it would. It only goes down to about the waist (there is some that goes down the front by the zipper). That being said, it is pretty warm. Not warm enough for NH winters, but good for fall days. Definitely roomy, does not run small - but I think that's a plus. ... show more

The only negative is that the pink gets dirty super easy and I work in an office and don't wear it except for nice. Going to try scotchgaard

I really like this jacket. I’m 5’2 and 105 lbs. XS fits perfectly. Great jacket for a petite woman that wants something warm and flattering for small frame.
