This definitely provides padding and extra protection for my laptop. I love the color and the materials are quality, especially the zipper. However, the padding is extremely thick and with the laptop inside it makes it very, very bulky and hard to carry around.

This.case.looks and.feels great and has wonderful padding. However, my laptop. 15.25" does NOT fit inside. The description says 15.6". The bag opening measures only 14". Unfortunately, I ordered fot for a trip but it came AFTER my departure, not on the day promised. So, I was not able to return in time. If.you are buying see if measurements have been made more accurate.
