The foam cushion I have used for 3 years is finally worn out completely so my quest began. I ordered a gel office seat that was hyped up during Amazon Prime day on promotion, the thing was like sitting on a rock! It GAVE butt ache. Next, I tried an intermediate cushion, some gel some foam - blah, and too thin, I could feel the chair and found myself standing rather than sitting just so as not to be on it. Now this one arrived today and I feel like Goldilocks, it's just right. The Pros: soft enough to sit on that does not make you sore, helps me in sitting up straighter without feeling like I'm "perching" on it, fits my office chair perfectly ( mines a usual size regular office-type bought at Staples) better than the gel one with the "cut out" U shape that made me feel I could spill over the sides if not centered right. I Have sat on a "purple" one at a store as I considered a "purple" but too expensive, and to my mind, this is every bit as good without the hefty price, in fact, it's better because it doesn't have that weird wobble I thought the purple one had. Maybe that's down to it having a cover (the store sample "purple" did not have a cover on). It does not squish down and I don't think it will, and for me, it's a keeper. The Cons: The box it arrived in had clearly been opened and I suspect someone else had returned it, came with no paperwork, cover already on ( maybe that's standard? for other two cushions the cover had come as separate in the box for me to insert and zip). But it doesn't matter if it's a "return" from someone else because quality is fine and I'm not returning. Another reviewer mentioned the smell and because I had read about it I smelled it - yes, it does have a chemical smell. But only if you put it up to your face, I'm sitting on it now and can't smell in usual use. Anyway, likely to wear off in time. I don't particularly like the feel of the ( cheap material) cover, so thin - on the other hand, same as the other cushions covers were, anyway I have wrapped it in a comfy small fleece blanket that the dog isn't using in his bed ( !) and this means it feels soft to sit on. Maybe that will affect the "cooling" that it's supposed to create through the eggbox airholes, but I didn't care about that feature, my office is cool, and needing air circulation in my cushion just isn't important to me - I wanted the support and comfort. I have sat on it for several hours today writing a long document and like it so much I will probably get some more for our kitchen chairs now we spend much longer around the family dinner table ( what with all the gourmet cooking we learned during COVID and better meals with appetizers etc that my fam. now regard as standard!). I Will update this review if doesn't hold up but my last one (a weak bit of foam bought on a whim in fabric store sale) was good enough for several years so I'm hoping it will provide years of comfort. For the price and the product, I wouldn't hesitate. It also says something that I came on and wrote a review because normally I don't bother unless particularly impressed or disappointed and I order quite a bit on Amazon ( not a paid reviewer or employee or anything). Good luck with finding the perfect one for you, I hope my views help with your decision, even though it's not an overly expensive item comfort can make a big difference to your office day so it's important to get it as right as you can.

From the moment I sat on this I was thrilled. I can’t walk much as I need my knees replaced. I also have a line of burns running across the area a person sits with. Long story! Needless to say it’s painful. This made such a difference! I will use it on my chair when I sit and also on my wheelchair which is a transport chair so has the sling seat. I’m curious if there are bed toppers like this too. I have a king but a twin for my side would be wonderful! This comes with a nice zippered cover too! My nurse, daughter, remarked one side of the cover is non slip. Said she wished they’d get those for the nursing home she works at. Seems like it’s bigger than I expected. Wider maybe which is great! A good price. Sturdy product! The inside is gel not foam. I’m very happy and may buy another one. This really made sitting not painful anymore.

I tested this gel seat cushion in several different settings, including my recliner chair, car, and mobility scooter chair, and it has been a noticeable improvement in overall comfort. The honeycomb gel design distributes weight evenly and helps relieve pressure on the tailbone and hips, especially during extended periods of sitting. The open-cell honeycomb structure also allows air to circulate, so it stays noticeably cooler than traditional memory foam cushions. On warm days, that extra ventilation makes a real difference. I found the cushion supportive without feeling overly firm, and it helped reduce the discomfort that can develop after sitting for several hours. It fit well on my office chair and car seat and stayed in place during normal use. A few things to keep in mind: while it provides excellent comfort and pressure relief, it isn't thick enough to completely transform a very hard or worn-out seat. It also has a slight gel odor when first unpacked, but that disappeared after airing it out for a day. This thing is amazing! I should have bought this seat cushion a long time ago! I own a Secret Labs chair (they are notorious for being uncomfortable) and this cushion has changed my life. My chair is so stiff that it cuts off blood flow to my feet & toes if I sit for too long. (Which is unfortunately hard to avoid now that I am working from home). That being said, after buying this seat cushion, everything has changed. As soon as I sat down, I could immediately tell the difference. Blood flow has been restored to my little piggies, the pain has been relieved, and I actually look forward to sitting in my chair now. Only time will tell how durable it is, but for now I am very happy with it. Initially, I was skeptical at first, considering how small it seems, but don't let that deceive you. This little cushion is a bastion of comfort. Consider the small size a bonus feature, allowing it to be easily portable. I will definitely be taking this to a sports game to use on the bleachers if it holds up long enough.

Holy cow! I love this thing. I am a wheelchair user and I have had the worst time with my seat cushion, and no one wants to get me a new seat cushion yet,which left me to my own devices to find something that was more comfortable for myself. I have added this on top of my seat cushion, and I can already tell the difference. I was using another brand off of Amazon That is also a honeycomb gel ushion and it kept sliding around and was thinner. And I realized that I probably needed one that was a little thicker and a little bigger. I haven't had this one as long, but I can already tell a difference and I can already tell that it's not going to slide around as much on my seat cushions as the other one. I also particularly like that it is thicker because I feel much more supported and much more comfortable in my hip area where I need the extra support. When you are left to your own devices because no one will help you with wheelchair repairs, you do a lot of research and this one will work for me! I really like that you can remove the cover and wash it because as a wheelchair user that is vital because we use it everyday all day. But the most important thing that I like is the fact that it is thicker And wider across the seat, than the M brand that I purchased previously. It came in a box and the cover was already on it, So I'm not really sure why the black honeycomb gel is $2 more than the blue, because you don't see it, so therefore I recommend getting the blue. 🙂 Anyway, highly recommend for anybody who needs some extra support That is comfy, who sits all day, and wants something affordable. Thank you so much for making this and for delivering it so quickly because I was in a lot of pain. Edited.6/2/26 I've now had this cushion on top of my other cushion for a while now and I've discovered that is too thick and hard on my hip, so unfortunately I will not be using it anymore. I have found another one to use when I need a break from my regular cushion. And it does slide around a ton. It is nice if you can get it to not slide as much and get it to where it is a nice balanced between A chair that you are using it for. But unfortBut unfortunately it no longer works for me. In fact you need a little extra padding on your wheelchair seat cushion I can no longer recommend this. In fact, I went back to a thinner one. Too much thickness and honeycomb combined is hard on some people's bodies. And apparently mine. 😞

Bought this to eliminate ischial tuberosity pain while sitting on the motorcycle. It is wonderful at eliminating that discomfort. Doesn’t heat stays cool and only draw back although minor is having to dry if it rains while we ride. Much cheaper than other motorcycle seat cushions. A great alternative.

After sitting through a few of my son’s all-day wrestling events on hard bleachers, and leaving with lower back pain; decided to get a pair of these for the upcoming judo season based on other reviews and thought, something is better than nothing; this seat cushion made a bigger difference than expected. First off, it’s easy to carry and versatile, wherever you sit, it adapts. Works on hard and soft chairs, benches, car seats, and gaming chairs without losing support or shifting around. Second, for me, promoted better posture and reduced pressure on the lower spine, making long sitting sessions far more manageable. The back‑pain relief was immediately noticeable. Lastly, comfort-wise, it hits the sweet spot: soft enough to relax into, but firm enough to keep you supported. Unlike many cushions that trap heat, this one kept me cool throughout the day thanks to its breathability. The only drawback, it doesn’t come with a carry bag, but they fit easily in a backpack which I normally have with me anyway.

Quick Summary Verdict: Very comfortable seat cushion that makes long periods of sitting much more manageable, especially for travel. Great pressure relief, but larger than expected if you plan to fly with it frequently. What I Liked: * I bought this specifically for airplane travel since my tailbone and lower back can start hurting during long flights, and it made a noticeable difference in comfort * The honeycomb grid design helps distribute pressure well and keeps it from feeling overly stiff or flat * Comfortable enough for extended sitting and supportive without feeling too hard * The cooling gel design helps prevent that overheated feeling some cushions can cause What Could Be Better: * My biggest complaint is the size. It is definitely larger than I expected and not exactly “travel sized” for carrying through airports * While great for comfort, it can take up a decent amount of space in a carry-on or personal item bag Who It’s Best For: Anyone dealing with tailbone discomfort, pressure points, or long sitting periods. Especially helpful for office chairs, road trips, wheelchairs, or long flights if you do not mind carrying a larger cushion for the extra comfort.
