We love our naturenest! It seems to be very good quality so far! We had a large softshell CVT tent for 10 years. That thing was a beast and we could store a lot of bedding in it but it was such a pain to set up/break down. This Naturenest opens up in seconds and after we deflate the mattress we can close it in like 5 minutes tops. We did upgrade the mattress to this mattress- https://a.co/d/32XcAR5 and it is SO nice- i broke my hip years ago and camping can be rough but i sleep great in this tent with this mattress. You must ensure it is completely deflated to close the tent though. We also leave two very thin blankets up top but cannot fit pillows or much else when its closed. The tent stay SUPER dark. We camped one summer if florida and ran an AC hose to the top and stayed super chilly! Havent had any moisture/mold issues in florida, but we keep some moisture absorbers up there just in case. I like the clear storage pockets, we slide our tablet in it to watchna movie before bed. The ladder is super nice, shoe holders are convenient. Overall a solid tent! ... show more

Install is about as easy as you can expect for an almost 200lb tent. My only complaint so far is the mounting plates that go below the roof rack bend and take awhile to settle in. As far as the tent goes I have 6 flawles nights in this tent. Prior to getting to use the tent I was worried about water intrusion during storms. let me tell you we had 7 straight days of rain and with the tent sealed shut it stayed dry!! Overall build quality is very solid. We camped in the mountains down into the mid 20s tent was a little cold but a mr buddy heater was far to much. We cooked a little bit lol. Very little condensation on the inside condensation was primarily on the base metal rails. With just a sleeping bag and the factory matress it was a pretty comfortable stay. Far better than I expected being a side sleeper. Gas struts are strong. Not much movement in heavy winds with the annex struts set tight. So far very happy! ... show more

⭐⭐☆ ☆ ☆ 3/5 Stars The rooftop tent itself appears to be a quality product, and I was genuinely excited about using it for upcoming camping trips. The design, materials, and overall concept are impressive. Unfortunately, my experience with customer service has been disappointing. During installation, we discovered that the shipment was missing two mounting plates. The instructions clearly indicate that eight plates are required, but only six were included in the package. I contacted customer service by phone and email and requested the missing parts. Rather than promptly resolving the issue, I was told I would need to purchase the missing plates separately. Since the missing parts were not due to customer error, I do not believe customers should have to pay for components that were omitted from the original shipment. More importantly, this is a safety issue. A rooftop tent must be properly secured, and incomplete hardware raises concerns about safe installation. The product itself has great potential, but after-sales support has not matched the quality of the tent. I hope NaturNest improves its customer service and stands behind its products by helping customers resolve issues like missing parts promptly and professionally. ... show more

This tent is very high quality. Opening this tent is a breeze. Closing this tent is another story, my tent came with a bungee cord to help pull material back into the tent but because its thick you have to manually push in material to make it close properly. Its a 2 person job trying to finesse the material back in while closing. First night I woke up with water beads everywhere aswell. I live in Colorado and its very dry here currently this was a disappointing factor. The headboard phone holder etc will be damp if not venting the tent in multiple ways. Dont climb the ladder without shoes its painful! I like the build quality and the low height factor when closed. I would like to see improvements, as these are not cheap investments. ... show more

Setup my Polaris 2 for the first time. Easy setup and love the room inside. It even rained with no issues. The difficulty is it takes a long time to pack. The tent fabric lower edge wants to lay across the sealing surface, and I have to lower the upper section with an adjustable paint handle in small increments and go side to side tucking it in. A chore when it's on top of a Suburban with a 3-inch lift. Other than that, it's a good product. ... show more
