  • Great product! Dries fast into sawdust, easily falls through screen
Size: 12 lb
This litter works really well in a sifting litterbox, with a pee pad in a drawer below. I originally started with the XL Breeze box and litter, but didn’t like the mineral pellets. Then I switched to the Platinum pine pellets, which was much better, but they didn’t dry out quickly. These pellets are shorter and fall through the scoop I use easily while dry. They crumble and dry out VERY quickly, and the little piles of dry sawdust fall quickly through the screen, rather than staying damp like the Platinum kind. There is a lot less odor as they dry so fast. I’ve had best results with scooping and scraping the sawdust over the screen daily. I have a second sifting litterbox that is smaller that we may use for travel or when we occasionally have a guest cat. ... show more

  • Superior product Less labor intensive than others and great odor control.
Size: 12 lb
Happy to find these at a more reasonable price than most. I mix the kernels on the bottom of my boxes and shred old mail and paper to add to the top so the cats can pay it around and mid week I may change out the shredded paper but the kernels last more than a week before tossing. I like the fact that they do not stick to either a metal cat box or a plastic one. The first litter I tried when I could not find the cedar pellets at a reasonable price. I had to soak the pans and use a heavy duty scraper to remove the clumps. This is definitely a great addition since it blocks odors does not clump to the boxes and is an easy change for me. I am well into my senior years. ... show more

  • Wonderful Pine Litter Wonderful Pine Litter
Size: 12 lb
I've used other pine pellets, this one is my favorite at the moment. Smells clean and there isn't as must sawdust/crushed pellets. The price point is fantastic for a smaller bag. I personally don't have space to get the huge bulk bags from farm stores that are super cheap, so this is option is perfect - a bag easily lasts a month and the quality seems nicer. I use it with a sifting litter box and a LitterZero trash can. Very low odor, almost no tracking, and my cat likes it. 10/10 ... show more

  • Meh
Size: 24 lb
I am on the hunt for the best natural litter that is safe for my kitty. I’ve already crossed a few options off my list and sadly I think I will cross this one off too. I saw people saying had a strong wood sense. My bag really doesn’t have much of a cent really really well and I have to give it five stars on that alone. However, the pellets are big and my cat just does not comprehend covering his poop with them so the poop just sits on top not covered at all Which I do scoop daily so I guess it’s fine but the scent doesn’t get covered whatsoever so I had a party and suddenly all you can smell is a strong cat poop of course I scooped immediately. Also, it is awkward to scoop. I don’t know if there’s a special scoop you’re supposed to buy. I just have a regular one and you have to take out a lot of pellets along with but you’re actually scooping. Also, as an extra downside since the poop is sitting on top, if it’s soft at all, it is just smearing on either the side of the box or the scoop. Maybe some cats are down with it and covering their business and if that’s the case, then I would rate this litter great. I will say it absorbs the smell of the pee completely. ... show more

  • Best urine control and no sand tracks
Size: 24 lb
Probably the best litter.. So far nothing on the market is “perfect” that I’ve actually tried.. It all comes down to your pets preference, your set up plus your own preferences. But I just changed to this 3 weeks ago, it smells like pine. Not artificial or potent smell like some others I’ve tried. It smells natural. I have a sensitive nose and needed a litter box in my room for my 2 kittens. It controls the smell of urine the whole time. I only just changed the pellets after 3 weeks because I could feel it getting firmer in there when I scooped poop, not because it smelled but I could feel it was time. A review on here suggested a pee pad at the bottom under the pellets, definitely love that trick! Highly recommend for all litter. But this is 10/10 for urine smell control and no dust cat box smell. No sand or tracks. Sure some tiny bits of pellets sometimes come out but it’s not a burden at all. My only down on the star is that it’s not good at poop smell control because it’s pellets not sand so it doesn’t cover as effectively.. Pretty litter gets a 10/10 for poop as it dehydrates it fast but for urine and dust smell and sand issues.. I wanted to try this and I do like it better overall. But I thought about those auto ozone litter boxes that do a quick zap after 2 minutes of your cat leaving that might work for these pellets and poop.. it looks like my current fake planter litter box too.. So there’s options that help. I got the metal recommended scooper which was worth it. It drops all pine and only poop left, and I flush that down the toilet, no bags needed. I scoop right after they poop and flush. Ideally I’m looking to potty train in the toilet eventually just waiting for my 2nd kitten to reach 4 months old. It’s worked for my cats in the past and hilarious. But approximately $15 a month for 2 cats fed twice a day isn’t bad with this for what you get isn’t bad. I think the pee pads really help it last and easy cleanup! ... show more

  • It took too long for me to find this great litter.
Size: 12 lb
I tried so many clumping cat litters that Amazon sells, and even though I was constantly scooping my xxxl litter box, the smell was horrible. I finally decided to try this non-clumping litter and I’m so happy I did. The price is fantastic and it’s still scoopable, but the first thing I noticed was that the horrible urine smell was gone. G O N E! I bought an enclosure for my giant litter box, and the only smells emanating from it are of pine. It’s also a lighter litter, and since I use litter box liners, it so easy to clean my huge box which makes it so much easier on my back. I LOVE this litter! ... show more

  • Best Cat Litter
Size: 12 lb
I've used pine litter in the past. I've been searching for the best eco-friendly, natural cat litter and I 100% love this litter however once I started using it, I noticed that by youngest cat who's 2 years old started having regular asthma attacks so I have to switch litters. I've only been using it for almost a week and I only put a little bit in the box and that goes a long way. I haven't even added any litter to the pan even after scooping. The only thing I did was scoop the poop. I can still smell the litter now and it is not smell like urine. I'm not sure about the dust level but as I mentioned earlier, it does affect my cat's respiratory system. It does not clump and as the cats frequently use the pine pellets, it breaks up. The cat litter does not stick to the pan so that wasn't an issue. I'm sad that I have to change but so far this was the best litter that I've tried in a long time! ... show more

  • The pellets are really Large Size, which is not indicated in their photo.
Size: 12 lb
The first thing I noticed is that the pellets are so large, 2 or 3 times larger than other brand's natural litter pellets, that unsoiled pellets cannot be sifted out or easily to put back in the litterbox: What you scoop up, is what you must through out. Consequently, even the unsoiled pellets have to go out in the trash with the soiled pellets. Secondly, is my fault. I just assumed that these pellets were somewhat clumping. They are not, but keep their original shape, even when wet, not being that absorbant. However, the pellets do smell good fresh from the bag. Conclusion: The large size pellets make scooping the litter box harder, not easier, and much goes to waste. ... show more
